A handcrafted Lodge where giant logs salvaged from local forests offers a private mountain setting on 16 acres set against the Cascade National Forest near Leavenworth, WA (2 hours east of Seattle). Perfect place to rest and create. Immersed in nature surrounded by rugged beauty. Lodge, Apartment, Log Cabin, Tipi or the entire Chateau. Tipi (king bed) is FREE when you book (first come first served basis). Five unique residences accommodate couples, family reunions and large groups. Sleeps 1-30. Demigod Defined
Demigods are important figures in Rick Riordan's Percy Jackson books, where many of the characters, including Percy Jackson himself, are demigods. In Riordan's work, a demigod is strictly defined as an individual born of one human and one divine parent. When our son was nine, he came to us with the idea to start the world’s first Camp Half-Blood and wanted to name it Camp Demigod. The name has also been referred to a gathering of adults who are exceptional in many ways with a common goal to collaborate. For example, Thomas Jefferson referred to the founding fathers when he wrote, "I have no doubt that all their other measures will be good and wise.
