If you plan to float, hop on the Wenatchee!! 🏄‍♀️🏄‍♂️🌊🌊

ATTENTION RIVER FLOATERS! The water in Icicle Creek is reaching its summer low point. This means slow moving water and stress for river dwelling species like fish. Although the gates at the hatchery boat launch remain open for tribal fishers, the boat launch is not a good place to put in your tubes. A float trip will take a long time and you’ll likely be walking some of it.

For a more enjoyable experience, we recommend floating the Wenatchee River instead. You can enter at the boat launch by the bridge at 8801 Icicle Rd.

Upcoming Oktoberfest info!! Always a fun time here in town during our amazing fall season 🍂🍁💛♥️

Prost! Oktoberfest in Leavenworth takes place the weekends of October 4-5, 11-12, & 18-19, tickets go on sale July 1! Admission is $15 for Fridays, $30 for Saturdays and $40 for a weekend pass. Day of sales may be limited, the best way to guarantee admission is to purchase in advance, plus you can buy your Oktoberfest merchandise and pick it up at the event.

New this year we will be introducing a point-of-sale system that will allow you to use our new commemorative wristband payment system, your credit card, or your phone (Apple pay, Google wallet, etc.) to pay for beer, wine, cider, and food! No more paper tickets!

Oktoberfest in Leavenworth welcomes a roster of standout musicians on three stages. Headliners this year include Die Jungen Weststeirer and Pech und Schwefel out of Austria, West Coast Prost, S Bahn, and showstopper Manuela Horn. Many other favorites performing include The Europa Band, Michael Stoessl, Aqua-Nets, European Takeout, Smilin’ Scandinavians, AlpenFolk, Ted Lunka Polka Band, Leavenworth Alphorns, the Hosen Ones and more!

We got a special visit at LGC by the Kermode/Spirit Bear and the family. The Spit Bear is very rare and highly regarded in native culture. It’s absolutely precious to have them on our course! 🐻

We have a new alpine coaster in town at Leavenworth Adventure Park!! It books up fast so book ahead online!!

#172 - There's a fun new adventure park in North Central Washington! Leavenworth Adventure Park is now open and offering exhilarating rides on their alpine coaster. The Tumwater Twister is 2,700' feet long with a vertical drop of 234 feet and three 360-degree spiral helix circles. Riders can enjoy views of Tumwater Canyon, Icicle Ridge, the Wenatchee River Rapids, and the town of Leavenworth. It's that time of year again everyone. Flows are still high, the water is still cold, and folks are getting into trouble.......

Every year, CCFD3, Cascade Medical Center and the Chelan County Sheriff's Office office respond to numerous calls for water rescue. Unfortunately, most years, one or more of these calls result in a fatality.
While most tubers will enjoy a fun day of floating w/o incident, there are several things you can do to keep your float safe and memorable:
