Job Description:
Fast-growing Telecommunications Service & Consulting Company seeking highly energetic motivated professional for Helpdesk / Customer Service Support role in a small company team setting. Telecommunications knowledge is a plus but not necessary. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment to assist with opening carrier trouble tickets on various customer issues such as network/circuits down, lines down, billing problems, general questions, etc.

Need to be able to communicate effectively via email and phone calls with customers and carrier personnel to identify, troubleshoot, and drive issues to resolution in a timely manner. Individual needs to have the ability to work in a team environment, be able to multi-task and should have knowledge of Microsoft Office – Outlook, Word and Excel.

Employment type:
Temporary-to-Permanent
Full-Time, 40 hrs/week

Once a temporary employee becomes a permanent employee:
• Employee will receive 2 Weeks (80 Hours) of paid vacation as well as paid holidays - including two floating holidays. These would be prorated until the end of the year based on when hire date.
• Employee health benefits are available the first of the month after 90 days of employment.
• Employee 401K retirement plan with company match is available the first day of the fiscal quarter following one year of service. By means of example, if August 27, 2018 is the start date, 401K plan eligibility begins October 1, 2019.

Prefer Candidates with experience in Microsoft Office and/or any who have some general technical knowledge. Client has found that people who may have some college coursework and had some basic background coursework in Telecommunications/Computer Science/MIS are a good fit as they are able to understand the technical aspects of the business more easily. This is not necessary, but it is definitely helpful.

Office Assistant (Accounting) will perform various routine clerical duties to support the accounting department.

Temp to Hire (Timing indefinite)

Duties/Responsibilities:
Performs clerical duties including data entry, filing, and general clerical duties.
Copies, sorts, and files records related to office activities, business transactions, and other matters; maintains filing systems either manually or electronically.
Prepares emails, letters, memos, forms, and reports according to written or verbal instructions.
Sorts incoming mail and delivers to appropriate department or individual; processes outgoing mail
Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail; excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
Must be professional and possess a good attitude; proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required; Clerical experience preferred; General bookkeeping experience is a plus, but not necessary.
