Thanks to the for putting on a Stewardship Day at the Buttermilk Boulders! Great turn out made the day of hard work easy. Hauling rock bags to delineate trails and the base of Saigon. Lots of dead brush was “planted” for vertical mulching as desert plants often disperse seeds via the wind and need existing brush to help the seeds find a new home. Looking forward to more stewardship days in the beautiful Eastern Sierra!

Great day out with return guest Adriana yesterday in the Alabama Hills! Weather held off while we climbed ten pitches with perfect temps. We also worked on multipitch rappelling and top rope solo methods.

2023 was a great year for us at Sierra Climbing School with expanded permit access, overnight backcountry trips and an increase in user day allotment in our permitted areas. Help us make 2024 even better and enjoy 10% off all bookings next month!
