While visiting Oahu, Pearl Harbor is a must do. It is a very somber place, a place to pay our respects. It is also very educational to learn about this part of WWII.

Visit the Arizona, pay your respects. Feel the history. Then head to the "Mighty Mo", The Missouri. You can tour this ship that served the Pacific Fleet in WWII and served through Desert Storm. Lots of history to learn on this ship.

Please allow enough time to see everything at Pearl Harbor. It could take you 4-6 hours. Tickets to visit the Arizona are free, but reservations should be made. There is a fee to tour the Missouri.

Check out the double rainbow over the Arizona. We were very fortunate that day as we saw so many rainbows.

Food anyone??

So many great things to choose from. Of course you need to buy some coconut and pineapple to munch on. But some other amazing foods in Hawaii are Malasadas (Hawaiian Donuts) you need to go to Leonard's and purchase these hot!! Another Hawaiian staple is LocoMoco which is sticky rice, a hamburger patty, topped with a fried egg and gravy! Oh so good! Best place for this is where the locals go, the Rainbow Drive-In.

Food trucks, restaurants, farmers markets, so many great places to eat. And if you like a drink, a variety of Hawaiian beer and mixed drinks await you! Try the Mai Tai's really good if you like rum!

Join our group of adventurers in discovering Alaska! Starting in Fairbanks we will be panning for gold, a riverboat cruise and exploring Fairbanks.

Then on to Denali National Park with 2 nights in a Princess Lodge. Here you can pick different adventures, such as hiking, river rafting, visiting a husky homestead or maybe exploring the area and relaxing on the deck! The 2nd day we will enjoy a natural historical tour where hopefully we will see a variety of Alaskan wildlife.

As we move on to Denali State Park at Mt. MicKinley the Princess Lodge will have excellent views of Denali and the Alaskan range! Enjoy relaxing around the fire pit or take on adventurous excursions.

We will then board the glass top train for a ride on the rails taking in the Alaskan beauty on our way to the dock in Whittier where we will catch our Princess Cruise on the Caribbean Princess.

On our cruise we will be sailing to Hubbard Glacier and Glacier Bay National Park where we will hopefully see glacier calving and an abundance of whales! Ports for the cruise include Skagway, Juneau and Ketchikan with many excursions to chose from! We will be disembarking in Vancouver!
