🛳 Let's talk cruising.

🤨I never thought I would like cruising. I thought, "Why would I want to spend my vacation trapped on a crowded boat eating mediocre food and listening to lounge singers?"

😍Then when I started my travel advisor business, I took my first cruise.
😍Turns out my perceptions were outdated and inaccurate.
😍Turns out I LOVE CRUISING.

WHY?

👨‍👩‍👦Perfect for all ages. Perfect for multi-generational families, for older adults, for friend groups, for young couples and children.
🎭The entertainment was high quality and diverse in style, from acrobatic water shows to popular Broadway productions.
🎤The karaoke was ridiculously fun.
🎹The live performers, from musicians to comedians, were excellent.
🩱The adult pools, childcare & kids clubs, lounges and spas were next level and ensured all ages were living their best life.
🍝🍦🥗The buffets were incredible, and I looked forward to them every day.
👨‍🍳 The nightly dining menu was varied with highly themed specialty restaurants available.
🥞The room service was a real treat.
🧼The hygiene measures were reassuring with handwashing stations all over the ship and at the entry to every restaurant.
🤿The ports, especially the ones featuring private islands, were easy to access and relaxing (and had snorkeling and other watersports, which I love).
🏖I had to the opportunity to see & explore different regions but unpack only once into a room with a gorgeous ocean view.
My favorite thing was reading out on the balcony and listening to the ocean waves as I reflected on the day's activities.
💰 The value was amazing, because I could simply purchase the standard package (often with amazing discounts) and be set for a great vacation or add upgrades in advance, like drink packages, dining, and land tours. No surprise expenses to blow my budget!
🧐My biggest issue was thinking, "I want to do all the things, but I only booked a 3-day cruise!"
That's not a bad problem to have.

BLAST OFF 🚀 **
To offer my Disney and Universal clients enhanced vacation customization, I am now booking tours to explore regional attractions outside of their “destination bubble.” 🗺️
But first, I wanted to test it for myself… and it was fantastic. ❤️
My daughter wanted to experience Kennedy Space Center, but I didn’t want to deal with renting a car, making the drive, parking, getting separate tickets packages, figuring out our schedule etc.
So after her music trip to Disney and Universal, we extended our stay, and I made it happen. 😊
With a variety of convenient pick-up spots throughout Orlando, we selected a neighboring resort within Universal that was short walk from us. 🚶‍♀️
Our tour guide offered all sorts of helpful tips for favorite attractions and restaurants at Kennedy and where to start our day. 🪐
We upgraded to a behind-the-scenes Explore Tour that took us to historic and active launch pads and secure areas— WOW!!🤩
My worry was that there wouldn’t be enough to fill the day, but when we left, we were talking about all the experiences we need to go back for since we ran out of time! 🧑‍🚀
