I took an entire week away from... well... everything.
I celebrated my 40th birthday with my favorite people. We did everything! It was so much more than I could ever imagine. Thank you so much to my hunny, my babies and my bestie. You are all so amazing. Without you, it would have just been another day.

This month is kind of a biggie for me. Come 2/22/22 I will be 40 years old.
I've always told myself, "there's a reason I am behind the lens and not in front of it". I AM NOT PHOTOGENIC. Yet, I tell every woman she is stunning and I can prove it if only she steps in front of my lens, and I truly mean every word.
I've decided it's time to... I suppose... practice what I've preached.
I have finally started tearing the tags off the beautiful wardrobe I've collected over the years but, have never worn. I have set up my lighting and camera equipment and tasked my amazing daughter with stepping behind the lens to help me create (long overdue) portraits of myself.
