Purpose

The Room Attendant promotes a positive image of the resort to our guests and Owners by providing a high level of cleanliness and customer service.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities
-Enters and prepares the room for cleaning
-Dusts the room and furniture, vacuums carpet and mops floors
-Cleans bathrooms, removing soil, dirt/soap build-up, and hair from the bathroom mirror, vanity, sink toilet, shower walls, bathtub, shower curtain, and floor
-Replenishes guestroom and bath supplies:facial, toilet tissue and bathroom amenities in correct amount and location
-Cleans closets and door tracts on check-out rooms, removing dust and debris and ensuring the correct amount and placement of hangers, extra blanket/pillow and luggage rack
-Removes dirty bed linen and makes the bed with clean linen
-Performs rotation cleaning duties
-All other duties as assigned
Job Requirements

Education, Essential Training / Certifications, and Experience:

High School Diploma/GED
Previous hotel-related experience desired

Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:

-Must have high energy with a passion for cleanliness
-Attention to detail
-Ability to multi-task
-Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with accuracy
-Maintains a desire to improve the quality of work
-Ability to maintain professional conduct at all times
-Flexible schedule, ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays
-Shift: Additional hours may be necessary to accommodate the number of guest check-ins/outs

Regular Hours and Weekend
Pay:

$14-$16 an hour
+ Room Bonus and Incentive Pay

WHAT YOU'LL DO
Looking for a professional individual to represent the first point of contact with our guest and handle all stages of their stay.

RESPONSIBILITIES

-Responsible for the efficient and courteous operation of the front desk.
-Responsible for checking guests in/out most efficiently and courteously. Collect balances and post appropriate room charges.
-Answers and transfers call from the switchboard using proper telephone etiquette.
-Answer guest questions about local restaurants and attractions.
-Send confirmation letters to owners/guests.
-Coordinate with all other departments to ensure a smooth response to guest’s requests.
-All other duties as assigned by management
BENEFITS, COMPENSATION, TRAINING

QUALIFICATIONS

-High School Diploma/GED
-Experience from which comparable knowledge and abilities are acquired
-Basic computer skills
-Great attention to detail
-Excellent Customer Service skills
-Active listener with the ability to solve problems

• In order for the Ponds to strictly follow established Massachusetts health and safety protocols, your assigned unit may not be your normally occupied unit. This is for the health and safety of our guests and staff which we hold as our highest priority. We appreciate your cooperation in advance.

• The clubhouse hour will be reduced, as the indoor pool, sauna and hot tub are closed.

Clubhouse hours are: Sun-Thur 9am-5pm, Fri - Sat 9am-9pm.
