There’s a new interactive exhibit at the Patuxent River Naval Air Museum! ✈️🚁

Understanding Anthropometry: the Science of Human Measurement in Aviation is a new exhibit that showcases how the study of human body measurements helps airplane pilots and crew members fly safely! Aircraft, flight suits, helmets, and other gear need to accommodate the range of physical needs of everyone.

This new exhibit includes a few hands-on experiences, which is great for the whole family! You can discover which naval aircraft you could fly and try on real flight suits.

The first Friday of every month, the town of Leonardtown hosts First Friday!

The town's historic art galleries, restaurants, cafés, gift shops, antique shops, bookstores and more open their doors to showcase local artists and/or serve specials at their establishments. Starting with the month of May each year, Leonardtown First Fridays are extended to Leonardtown First Friday All Weekend Events and continue through October.
