The is open at Disney Boardwalk and you bet Sean and I plan to try it out in 45 days. We may have to take out a small loan to grab a slice of cake, but how can you not?!

The decor is right up my alley with the pink and gold tones, which I love. But is a slice of cake worth $24? It’ll be a one and done for us - UNLESS…it’s heaven on earth. Stay tuned we’re going to leave a review for all of you very soon!

🧁Happy Birthday, Walt Disney World.

🏰 Walt Disney World opened on October 1st, 1971. Tickets were $3.50 each!! WOW!!! Can you imagine?!

Disney has become a place of comfort; my happy place to say the least. While it’s become a bit more expensive, I will always find a way to visit. It’s home in my heart. The place I go to feel like a kid, to hug the characters or to watch a parade for the tenth time. It’s my home.

So thank you Walt Disney World for being “born.” Thank you for the endless memories for the past 53 years. I can’t wait to see the next 53!

Patiently waiting for our cruise to St. Thomas upon the Carnival Magic. We’re down to 72 days until we depart and 70 days until we fly down. I’m so excited!!

Have you been on the Magic or to St. Thomas? What do I need to know. I’ve done my research, but I always find other travelers find “secret” excursions to walk to. Let me know 😉

Holy guacamole 🥑

🌀Typhoon Lagoon🌀 OR ❄️Blizzard Beach❄️

When it comes to water parks and Disney, there are two options and some people tend to like one water park over the other. Both are great, but they also have different perks and takeaways for everyone. See if your favorite water park is the same as mine ⬇️

Typhoon Lagoon:
+ Water rollercoaster
+ Massive (& VERY STRONG) wave pool
+ Really cool lazy river
+ Can surf after hours ($$)
- Water rollercoasters are sooo short and you don’t get a ton of speed
- The wave pool can be VERY strong for younger kids
- No actual thrill water slide (IMO)

Blizzard Beach:
+ Thrill water slide (Mount Gushmore)
+ Fun kids area (at 28 I did some@of the kid stuff, too)
+ The Ski lift is so much fun!
+ Great theming and story throughout
- Located south of property by AkL, you usually have to find a transfer bus to get to the waterpark
- An “okay” lazy river, nothing spectacular (IMO)
- Feels like it’s always closed fora longer time

⛄️Don’t get me wrong, both water parks got great, especially for families (it’s Disney, duh) but my personal preference is Blizzard Beach. My husband and I love thrill rides and there seems to be more at BB in our experience. I also like to snowboard for a hobby and the theme makes me feel like I’m in a winter wonderland when I’m in 90° weather!

Either way, if you’re lucky enough to visit either water park at Disney you won’t be disappointed. I mean, after all, it is Disney °O°

My daughter is in EPCOT today and I am JEALOUS!!

As I’ve gotten older I have a new found love for EPCOT. The drinks, the food, the few rides that are available come together perfectly. It’s always a good day when I can walk around at my own pace enjoying the different countries. Plus, the margaritas in Mexico are 🤤🤤🤤
