📝History
The Mayans are thought to have invented hot chocolate around 2,000 years ago. The Aztecs and Olmecs flavored their hot chocolate with chili, water, and toasted corn, while the Spanish added sugar and cinnamon.
🩺Medicinal properties
Doctors used hot chocolate as a medicine until the 1800s. The caffeine in cacao beans was thought to be a source of energy and help with recovery.
🤍Military use
During the Revolutionary War, soldiers were given hot chocolate and hot chocolate mixes, sometimes in place of wages. British explorer Robert Falcon Scott and his men survived on hot chocolate and stew during their trek to the South Pole.

The main floor has a large master bedroom with a walk-in closet and an ensuite bathroom. There is also a queen bedroom with a full bath right next door. Stepping out onto the deck you will be looking over the large backyard that has a fire pit to spend your nights roasting marshmallows.
There are two full-sized bedrooms located in the basement along with a half bath. The basement also has a newly refelted pool table and a TV room creating the perfect hang-out space. You can also walk out from the basement to the backyard!
