Just like that, the Easter Island Moai figures have been carved and ready for tonight’s Festival of Ice in downtown Lewistown!
The Merry Mannequins are ready to make their debut this week for the Festival of Ice. Many are wearing traditional garments that represent countries like Norway. Sweden, Germany, Africa, France, Ireland, and more. This year there are 21 mannequins on display in the windows of downtown businesses and inside the Historic Courthouse. They will be on display through the new year.

The much-anticipated second annual Goose Day Drone Light Show is set to illuminate the skies once again, promising an even more spectacular experience with the addition of 100 more drones, bringing the total to 300 drones! This year’s event will captivate audiences with brand new intricate goose-themed images, celebrating the beloved local tradition with cutting-edge technology.
Firefly Drone Shows, who are based in Michigan, will be traveling to the Juniata River Valley to put on the show that will illuminate the audience’s imagination and take Goose Day to new heights.
The drone show will follow this year’s Lucky Friday in Downtown Lewistown event in downtown Lewistown at 9:30 p.m. from the field near the corner of Green Avenue and Kishacoquillas Street.
The Goose Day 5K is celebrating its 46th year!
This course is a fun, flat, and fast run and is an excellent course for a new personal record or first time 5k'ers!
