Lewisville will mark its 100th birthday in 2025, and the City is gearing up for a year-long celebration. Get ready to see a lot more of this logo around town as announcements are made about new centennial-related activities.
We'll launch a new Centennial Celebration website in December, and everyone should come check out the Centennial Celebration booth at Old Town Holiday Stroll on Dec. 6-7 to learn more about tours and events and for the chance to purchase special Centennial-branded merchandise.

The City of Lewisville proudly presents Conexiones Culturales: Cultural Connections an art exhibition celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month. The exhibition, curated by Jose Angel Hernandez, aims to celebrate and share the rich artistic diversity of Latinx artists living in North Texas. The exhibition features art by Odilia Iaccarino, Veronica Medeiros, Catalina Currea, Lupita Murillo Tinnen, Tesa Morin, @steven_rodriguez_swart , and @jose_angel_art . It will be up to explore through Saturday, November 16.

Lap of Luxury, Fresh Ideas 2023 Winner @Ariel.Bowman exhibition

Lap of Luxury places prehistoric mammals within the context of human history as Rococo lap dogs. In the 18th century, lap dogs were a status symbol among the aristocracy, spoiled by royals, who made them a part of their daily social spectacles.
As a sculptor, Dallas-based artist Ariel Bowman works in clay using a variety of mixed media techniques. Ariel earned her Masters of Fine Arts degree from the University of Florida in 2018.
Ariel is the winner of the Visual Art League of Lewisville’s Fresh Ideas 2023 exhibition. This juried art exhibit highlights works by talented artists from across Dallas/Fort Worth and other areas of Texas, with the first place winner being featured in a solo exhibition the following year.
