😱A whole NEW Monsters Inc Land is coming to Disney’s Hollywood Studios in Walt Disney World!

🚗Humans will now be able to Enter Monstropolis, where the monsters are collecting laughs to power the city. We will get to tour the scream laugh floor and zoom through the door vault in the first ever suspended coaster in a Disney park! Guest ride seats will even be hoisted into the air by the claws that grab the doors!

🚧Construction on this project starts next year (2025)! Who else is energized with excitement to power the city of Monstropolis?!

Here's what we know about the Cars attractions coming to Magic Kingdom:

We're leaving Radiator Springs behind and going to the American West - Frontierland, to be exact. One thrilling attraction will have you rally race through the mountains across "mountain trails, dodging geysers and — Mater’s favorite — splashing through mudholes."

Another smaller attraction will be created for "smaller racers" that will be "fun for the whole family"

This new space in Frontierland will begin in early 2025

⏱️🦖Are Dinosaur’s days numbered? We may find out later this week from the D23 expo.

🌴Disney has confirmed they are planning on reimagining this area, with a few hints at a “tropical Americas theme” possibly featuring Indiana Jones and Encanto.

🏨Happy 30th Anniversary to The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror! When’s the last time you dropped in?

🎩One of my favorite things about this attraction are the hidden details and props in the queue and select parts of the ride! Did you know you can find some screen used items from the 1960’s television show here? It makes it that much creepier and authentic.

Now that you are all Genie+ experts, it’s time to say goodbye to Genie+ 🫠 BUT the good news is that they have listened to requests from guests and made some helpful changes. Starting July 24, Disney Genie+ service will become Lightning Lane Multi Pass, while individual Lightning Lane will now be known as Lightning Lane Single Pass.

Here’s how Lightning Lane passes will work starting July 24:

⚡Lightning Lane Multi Pass:
- Make up to 3 Lightning Lane selections in advance.
- On the day of your visit, make additional selections after using your initial ones.

⚡Lightning Lane Single Pass:
- Secure a time for one highly demanded attraction in advance.

✨ Guests at Disney Resort hotels and select hotels can plan up to 7 days in advance for their entire stay (up to 14 days). All other guests can plan up to 3 days in advance.

Get ready to say goodbye to Genie+…sort of!

After listening to guest feedback, Disney is making changes to Disney Genie+ service- the “skip the regular line” system at Walt Disney World and Disneyland Resort.

Starting on July 24, Disney Genie+ service will become Lightning Lane Multi Pass, while individual Lightning Lane will now be known as Lightning Lane Single Pass.

This will now give you the ability to Pre-select attractions days before your visit! More details to come- check out the video below!

🚢Disney Magic: Day 1

Checking in at the new Disney Cruise Line Terminal at Port Everglades was SUCH a breeze! The area is themed to Finding Nemo and has bright and friendly murals on the walls. Theres lots of seats and charging stations for comfort while you wait to board.

After stepping foot on the ship and being welcomed by Mickey and the entertainment team, I rushed to Senses Spa to get a pass for the Rainforest Room- one of the areas just for adults on the ship.

We had lunch at Rapunzel’s Royal Table and explored a few areas of the ship including the Oceaneer Club during Open House, where kids can slide down Andy’s Buzz Lightyear bed via Slinky Dog!

Being one of the first in Disney’s fleet, Our stateroom on the Magic had a very classic Nautical feel, and featured artwork from the original Pirates of the Caribbean attraction as well as an old framed photo from Walt and Lillian Disney’s travels. Being my 2nd Disney cruise and getting induced into the Castaway Club, a nice tote/beach bag and lanyard was waiting for me in the room too!

It was soon time for Mickey’s Sail-A-Wave Deck Party as we were approaching our departure time. The show featured a variation of the “Cmon Everybody Get Your Ears On” song that has been used in the theme parks!

The evening’s entertainment was a live theatrical stage show called “Disney Dreams” which wasn’t my favorite out of the 3 shows we saw every night, but was saved by a show stopping number of The Circle of Life during a Lion King Segment. The cast was extremely talented, especially the man playing Prince Charming who had an impeccable baritone voice.

Our dining rotation for the first night was at Animator’s Palate. It’s so cool to see the room transform from B&W to color as the meal progresses! Even better than the food was a special surprise from the Sorcerer Mickey with nods to Fantasmic - plus my Magicband+ (called Disneyband on cruises) lit up with the finale! I love how the new magicbands can be used across different Disney destinations now!

After dinner, the night was capped off with seeing the “Match Your Mate” game show, a popular “just for adults” entertainment offering which is a Disney twist on the Newlywed Game. Contestants are asked questions like “Which of these Disney Songs describes your love life?” - “A Whole New World”, “I’m Almost There”, or “For the First Time In Forever”? It’s always a hoot and a holler to see this show!
