Getting a little more done on the Maisonette. Most of Electrical done. Some left for porch lights and under Patio. Working on the plumbing currently. Dishwasher hooked up , plumbing ready for the small Rv size washer/dryer in one. Should be finished soon with the sewer hooked up. Taking next month off for vacation.

When this rental becomes available you will find we are close to a lot of Fun !Louisiana with its amazing cuisine, horse racing French Quarters, and Antebellum homes and of course state of the arch casinos . The Gulf of Mexico beaches of Galveston if so close you can feel the Gulf breeze. Lot’s of historic places to visit a couple hours away or less from the Le Maisonette county tiny house located in a small community in Moss Bluff Texas.
We are located in South Liberty County just minutes away from the 3rd oldest city in Texas. Liberty Texas.
Houston and Beaumont are just a hour away each way.
So, many interesting places to explore, old Fort Anahuac, Gator Fest and Bolivar Peninsula to name a few. Take the ferry to Galveston and get a good view of the Port of Galveston might even see the Alissa tall ship if in port.
Don’t for get Dickens on the Strand or Mari Gras both unique and exciting Galveston events. But, remember you can come back home to relax with a beautiful sunrise n the lake.
Hope to be open for rental 2025. Would love to host you then.

Newest work on the Maisonette. Entergy Electric Electrical engineers came out and set the electrical pole. Yeah!! Finally. Now can finish the rest of the wiring, plugs etc.
put up some Sheetrock in the kitchen to be able to hang the heavy wood built cabinet. Thank you Mr Larry.
Cabinet upper doors cut out for glass, still figuring out what kind to insert. Trying to figure out the painting of the cabinets and picking out a counter top. I think I have the black splash figured out. The tiling of the Maisonette is beautiful light grey. Outside lighting wiring done just waiting on outside porch and front door fixtures to be bought.
Have mini split bought and ready to put up the sheet rock so I can call and have the a/c hung and cooling to finish the Maisonette walls, flooring and everything till finish! Too hot!! Will start again September to push forward to get Sheetrock hung and painted.

My Grandson and his wife Alicia brought out my newest member of the family, Aeros Gutierrez. He is a real handsome guy. Born on March 8th. Alicia my granddaughter -in law brought her parents from Southern California. I was so happy to meet them . They fell in love with La Maison and La Maisonette du Lac. Loved the Lake. Hoping to see them again and the Maisonette will be ready.. Nice to get excited faces.❤️

Will be moving the bed around at the finish. Just figuring out where things will go or not. Already changed a few things/ location of the small kitchen will be where I was going to put the bedroom. This is why it is so important to see furniture in place some times.

Putting in some of the furniture to get a feel for the set up of the Maisonette. Son came and visited for two days. Bed very comfortable. Going to start on the above ground pool and courtyard this summer. Fall back to work on plumbing, electricity, insulation sheet rock/ paint and tiling. Can’t wait

Moving right along each month toward this Airbnb goal. Purchased the mini split yesterday. Got a nicer front door. Will install soon and paint the outside. A work in progress! Goals holding steady.

Birders will love the Lake fowl. There are many different species that visit from time to time. Bawled Eagles, cranes, large redhead wood pe**er, owls, hawks, pelicans just to name a few.
