What a Finale! Our Last Day on the Greece Island Hopper Trip - Santorini to Athens

We kicked off the day with a breakfast buffet filled with classic Greek flavors – a perfect start to our final morning in paradise. After winding through Santorini’s scenic roads, we boarded a quick flight back to Athens and settled into our hotel.

The afternoon was all about making the most of every moment – shopping at the market, grabbing lunch, and toasting to an incredible trip with views of the Acropolis from a skytop bar.
And the grand finale? A lively farewell dinner with authentic Greek music, dancing, and endless laughter – the perfect way to wrap up this unforgettable adventure.

Tomorrow, we head home with full hearts, new friendships, and memories to last a lifetime.

Day 8 - Greece Island Hopper - Santorini

After a delightful breakfast buffet, we had some leisure time to explore the charming town center and the stunning beach areas of Santorini. While some of our group opted for a day of relaxation, others embarked on a full-day Island Hopping and Sunset Cruise. We set sail to discover some of the captivating islets that surround Santorini, taking in the breathtaking views before savoring a delicious dinner on board as the sun dipped below the horizon.

One of the highlights was the trek to the top of the volcanic crater formed by the historic eruption that shaped these islands. Some adventurous members of our group made the climb, rewarded with spectacular vistas and the sight of steam rising from the dormant volcano.

Another memorable stop was the chance to plunge into the brisk waters of the caldera and swim to the natural hot springs — a refreshing and invigorating experience.

Tomorrow, we fly back to Athens, where we will spend our final night in Greece and toast our sun-filled getaway at a farewell dinner.

Day 6 Greece Island Hopper - Mykonos to Santorini.
Today, we bid farewell to Mykonos and embarked on a thrilling high-speed boat ride to the breathtaking island of Santorini. Famous for its iconic blue-domed rooftops, whitewashed architecture, and striking rocky hillsides, Santorini truly feels like a slice of paradise.

Upon arrival, we took in the stunning scenery as we made our way up the winding roads, capturing spectacular views along the way. Our afternoon was spent exploring the charming seaside village of Oia, where we indulged in authentic Greek cuisine and sampled local wines at a traditional lunch spot.

Later, we checked into the beautiful Aegean Plaza Hotel and enjoyed a delightful poolside buffet dinner. Many of us ended the evening with a peaceful beach stroll, just a short walk from the hotel.

Tomorrow, we’re excited to visit the ancient site of Akrotiri and continue our culinary adventure with a visit to a local winery. Stay tuned for more updates!

Day 5 Greece Island Hopper - last day on the island of Mykonos we visited the ancient ruins on the island of Delos. Boat ride to the island and back with spectacular scenes on the blue waters of the Aegean Sea, outstanding authentic cuisine for lunch and a great evening of libations, food, and camaraderie. We even recovered a lost jacket of one of our guests. Tomorrow we are off to the island of Santorini.
