Our goal is to be the Common Denominator in building a base of loyal customer and continue to develop a positive reputation while giving back to the community. Our model is such that every trip has a charitable component where a portion of the proceeds benefits local, national or interna

tional organization/program. We primarily work with group leaders of community organizations, businesses, municipalities, and schools to gather the minimum number of people required for each trip. The trips are organized, comfortable, hassle free and most of all FUN! We have a number of pre-arranged packages with optional amenities or we will customize the trip to your group's needs. Our website provides up to date information on all of our current and past trips as well as an opportunity to make reservations and payments securely through paypal.

Day 7 Sicily and Southern Italy - Sassi di Matera, Trulli Village of Alberobello.
In the morning we visited Alberobello (UNESCO) in the nearby region of Puglia where we were able to admire the town's unique "trulli" homes with their distinct cone-shaped roofs.
In the afternoon, we explored the Sassi di Matera, an ancient settlement of cave dwellings, with a local expert guide who shared the history of this unique place. In addition we visited a local shop to sample regional specialties and had free time to explore, shop and enjoy the street entertainers. We returned to the hotel for a delicious dinner and then gathered for some friendship and camaraderie.

Day 6 - Sicily and Southern Italy - Journey to Matera (Mainland Italy) 🇮🇹
Today, we said goodbye to the beautiful beachside hotel in Giardini-Naxos and departed the Island of Sicily taking a short ferry ride to Villa San Giovanni on Italy’s mainland.
Then, we drove through the unspoiled Calabria & Basilicata regions, stopping at a local winery to visit their cellars and enjoying a fantastic four course meal.
Afterward, we continued to the ancient town of Matera in the Basilicata region checking in to the elegant MH Matera Hotel where we will be staying for the next 2 nights. In the evening, we all had the opportunity to relax with a cocktail or two and enjoyed our hotel.

Day 5 Guardini Naxos, Taormina, Mount Etna on Sicily and Southern Italy Trip. This morning, we had the opportunity to explore beautiful Taormina, which is home to ancient relics, rocky hills, and charming gardens.
With the guidance of a local expert, we took a leisurely stroll along the lively pedestrianized main street, visiting the imposing Corvaja Palace, and climbing to the city’s well-preserved Greek theatre.
This afternoon we experienced Sicily’s wilder side on an off-road adventure to Mount Etna. Our convoy of SUV’s took us to gaze up at the iconic peak as the vehicles climbed along the sides of Europe’s largest active volcano. We spent the afternoon exploring this legendary giant, passing by lava formations and basalt rocks.
This evening we experienced the flavors of Sicily enjoying a traditional Sicilian 4-course meal at a local restaurant and were entertained by a group of talented musicians playing traditional Sicilian music.

Day 4 Piazza Amerina, Giardini Naxos, Sicily and Southern Italy. Today we ventured deep into Sicily’s countryside to Piazza Armerina, home of the ancient Villa Romana del Casale (UNESCO), and explored the site with an expert insider for a locally guided tour of its impressive mosaics. After a Sicilian lunch and a our daily gelato, we journeyed east to Sicily’s Ionian Coast and to Giardini Naxos – the “Garden of Sicily” where we will be staying fir for a couple of nights. On arrival we took in the spectacular beach-side views and enjoyed cocktails on the veranda and dinner at the hotel restaurant.

Day 3 Trip to Sicily and Southern Italy… After a delicious breakfast buffet some of our group enjoyed leisure time at our hotel, taking in the views from its panoramic terrace and walk along the beach while others ventured into Agrigento’s old town for a stroll through its historic center and took some free time to explore.

In the afternoon, we all stepped back 25 centuries and delved into ancient Greek history for a visit to the stunning Valley of the Temples (UNESCO), one of the world’s most esteemed archeological sites. There we got an up-close view of the temples of Juno, Concordia, and Hercules during an extensive walking tour of this vast archeological site.

After visiting the Valley of the Temples, we enjoyed dinner at a local restaurant and an evening view of the illuminated Valley of the Temples from a nearby panoramic spot.

Day 2 Cefalú, Farmhouse Lunch & Agrigento.

This morning, we said farewell to Palermo and set off for the stunning seaside town of Cefalù on Sicily’s northern coast. We strolled the charming medieval streets with a local guide and visited the city's impressive cathedral showcasing mosaics and Norman architecture.

Next, our journey took us to a family-owned farmhouse, picturesquely set in the surrounding hills. We met the amazing and energetic owners and discovered a typical day on a Sicilian farm.

We learned how to make Sicilian Rice Balls and then were treated to a hearty farm-to-table lunch, made with family recipes. REAL FOOD RULES in Sicily! Delicioso!

After lunch we traveled over rolling hills and peaceful farmland to Sicily’s southern coast for the start of a relaxing 2-night stay in Agrigento. We enjoyed drinks and dinner at the hotel with old world charm.

Arrived in Polermo! We began our day with a walking tour of Polermo’s old town where we uncovered cobblestoned piazzas and ornate buildings, many worn by time and conflict. Then we visited hilltop Monreale, ascending on foot to its 12th century foot a guided tour of the Byzantine mosaics. We explored the cathedrals cloisters and took in the serene atmosphere of the serene monastic before returning to Polermo for a leisurely evening. Today we visit the stunning seaside town of Cefalú, a family owned farmhouse and travel to Sicily’s southern coast for a 2-night stay in Agrigento

And today the CD Trips contingent embarked on a long but beautiful journey starting in Belfast, visiting Cornlough Harbor ( think the harbor stair scene in season 6 of Game of Thrones) exploring the Giant Causeway, taking in the beautiful landscape of Northern Ireland, enjoying a train ride and ending with a tour of the charming city of Derry and the Irish music of Thomas Sweeney at dinner. A full but really wonderful day.

Today the CDTrips contingent toured Glasgow, visited Glasgow Cathedral with a masterful guide and then drove through the beautiful countryside of Scotland to Loch Ryan where we boarded a transport ferry across the Irish Sea to Belfast. Good bye Scotland, hello Ireland !!!

Today's CD trip adventures included a boat ride along Loch Ness ( but no Nessie sightings !), a visit to the ruins of Urquhart Castle, a stop at the site of the Battle of Culdron ( think Outlander ) and a really fun evening of music, dance and local stories.

Come see this talented, beautiful lady sing her heart out at "From The Heart - An Afternoon of Music & Comedy benefiting the 46th Annual 98.3 WSUL Heart-A-Thon. The show will take place on Sunday, February 4th from 2-5pm at the Bridge and Tunnel Brewery Liberty NY Catskills. Presented in memory of Arthur Gass, the show will feature the dynamic Joanna M Gass along with special guest Cris Cirillo Spinner both backed up by the Search and Rescue Orchestra along with Comedians Jesse Gambino and Keith Prince. There will be raffles, a 50-50, light fare provided by A Single Bite and awesome craft beers in the Bridge and Tunnel Brewery Taproom. Donation is $25/person.
