👑 Guests can attend Movies Under the Stars for princess movie screenings at select resorts this week.
👑 Disney Springs will have a princess-themed DJ dance party on Saturday, August 27.
👑 In the American Adventure pavilion in EPCOT there is a Tiana & Naveen-inspired paper crown giveaway.

We went in the other direction and were able to ride Dinosaur several times without getting off (didn’t even see anyone else). And when we headed to Everest? Let’s talk rainy days at Disney! It’s a daily event - especially in summer. And drainage at Disney isn’t the best so be prepared for ankle deep water in LOTS of places (especially at Magic Kingdom). We typically bring both ponchos and umbrellas. But if the rain is sideways, an umbrella will just keep your hair dry and not the rest of you! Ponchos aren’t foolproof either if you take them on and off - it’s easy to get water inside the poncho. Or if it’s so hot you are sweating like crazy, it may as well be raining in your poncho lol. I like to wear workout pants that are wicking - that helps and it also helps to make sure chafing isn’t an issue. But shoes - well, that can be the biggest challenge! We are on a family trip to Universal this week - and we have a new favorite roller coaster - The Incredible Hulk - TONS of loops - and it starts out with a launch into a corkscrew! So much fun :-)
