Yesterday we talked Tusker House lunch - today let’s look at breakfast! There is fruit (and yes you can ask for what you want here - we were able to get a bowl with just berries), bread service that is so cute, and then a platter with all the traditional offerings - including Simba waffles. They even brought me my very own bowl of bacon lol. They have POG juice and a variety of mixed drinks as well.

Tusker House in some form is always a part of our trip.

My favorite table service restaurant in Animal Kingdom is Tusker House. It’s perfect for all food preferences- and even works well for my ketogenic diet.

This is the lunch and dinner meal - it’s served family style. You start with bread and salad. The main course is delicious moroccan spiced beef, pork, roasted chicken, and cape Malay curry shrimp. I was able to get the beef rare without sauce and the shrimp without the rice. The dessert trio is beautifully done and it’s delicious!

I am so excited about the return of Mickeys Not so Scary Halloween Party. If you are staying on site, you can secure your tickets on May 12 and it opens to the general public on May 18.

I stayed at the Art of Animation resort in a Finding Nemo Family suite in March. The suites are fantastic if you need to sleep more than four - and if you don’t, just enjoy that extra elbow room plus the awesomeness of two bathrooms.

The resort has three pools, a pool bar - The Drop off which even has frozen Jack or rum and Coke.

And one of my favorite amenities is the Skyliner access. It makes transportation to Epcot or Hollywood Studios a breeze.

A very underrated food option is the Rix sports bar at Coronado Springs. It’s pretty easy to get a reservation and the food was fantastic with options for all tastes and plans. As someone who follows keto, I got nachos minus the chips lol - so they brought be chicken with all the toppings for me to assemble as I wanted! The carb eaters enjoyed delicious dinners and amazing desserts.
