The Marie Lamfrom Charitable Foundation has partnered with Explore Lincoln City for their Finders Keepers program! 128 glass floats are being hidden along the coastline between Roads End and Siletz Bay, with each glass float associated with a participating nonprofit organizationβ€”including the Oregon Coast Aquarium. When folks find and report the assigned floats, the participating nonprofits are awarded funds. The faster floats are found, the higher the funding!

Floats are hidden throughout the month of June by float fairies. The search begins now and ends July 31.

If you find a float, be sure to report it at explorelincolncity.com/register 🌊

Who knew fun was so close!

Who knew fun was so close!

Sure, Lincoln City has seven miles of beautiful beach to enjoy… and we also have other incredible waters to explore, such as Devils Lake.

Devils Lake is 685 acres of serene water on the east side of Lincoln City, connected to the Pacific by the β€œWorld’s Shortest River” β€” D River β€” which is only 120 feet.

It’s hard to believe such a large lake can be nestled away in our small coastal town. Outside of a quick view here and there, you might have been too busy exploring the beach to even realize this gem awaits just to the east.

With its calm waters and shelter from coastal winds, Devils Lake provides a cool haven for kayaking, enjoying a picnic at one of our many lakeside parks, or casting a line to catch dinner. The lake also has plenty of public boat ramps βœ…
