Join the Gingerbread Fun Run, a 5K run/walk coming to Caliente on November 9th! This event helps raise funds to support youth drug prevention and reduction programs throughout Lincoln County.

Registration is just $25 for adults & $20 for youth and includes a t-shirt and prizes! This is a great way to get some exercise and enjoy the beautiful fall weather while making a difference in the lives of young people throughout our community.

During the Lincoln County Photo Festival, I spent 3 days at Cathedral Gorge showing attendees the best areas for photography. I also had the pleasure of watching the landscape change with the light. This panorama was taken as the last bit of sun was disappearing behind the distant mountains.

Get ready for the 7th annual Battle Born Trail Run on Oct. 19 at Cathedral Gorge. Celebrate Nevada becoming the 36th state by running 3.6 miles or 10.31 miles to commemorate Nevada Day. A 1.864 mile course will be provided for kids to participate in state pride.
