Recent and past Europe trip travelers, tune in to the Olympics right now! It is so cool to see the places we’ve been to on tv. They shut down the streets and put a beautiful facade on one of the bridges. Our son, Ledger, who traveled with us on the 2024 trip said, “Wow! Notre Dame looks so different and built up already”. We were just there in June.

I hope you tune in, root for America in the games, and think of the amazing places you have/you could visit!

We’ve landed in Toronto after a nearly 9.5 hour flight from Rome. We are so excited to get home to our friends, family, pets, and the comfort of our own beds (a little ice in soda sounds pretty good too!).

We will keep you posted on flights, but for right now please plan on picking up your traveler at the Sacramento Airport at 9:20pm. Plan to be there early as your student is tired as are the adults.

The Lincoln Safari gang is on the plane in Rome heading to Toronto. First flight is running on time as of right now.

A BIG HUGE thank you to our tour guide, John. John was our tour guide from the airport back to the airport. We learned so much from him such as how to say words in Italian and French, some hand gestures, lots of history, and travel safety!

Day 10: Our last day was spent in the gorgeous, Capri. It was the perfect end to our adventure!

We’ve traveled thousands of miles, by plane, high speed train, bus, and metro. We’ve learned new words, hand signals, and about different cultures and customs. We’ve tried new foods, visited the places we learned about in history classes, and made some new friends. We are ready to come back to the comforts of home! 💙💚

Please be at the airport no later than 9:30pm on the 24th to pick up your student traveler.

Day 9: Today we traveled to Pompeii and Sorrento. The sights of the ancient city of Pompeii are amazing. It is so cool to learn about they ways they got water into the city, how the shops had sliding doors to indicate they were open, and how they created steam rooms. Sorrento is a beautiful, quaint, city. We had free time to explore.

We are coming close to heading home and the travelers are starting to be ready for the comforts that home provides, while also taking in every minute.

Day 7 & 8: Exploring Rome!

It now.🙂

Day 7 we visited the Coliseum and Roman Forum. It was hot, but is was also so interesting. One of our travelers said, “I’ve been wanting to come here since I was in 6th grade!”

Day 8 we went into the Vatican museum, the Vatican, saw the Sistine Chappel, pantheon, piazza Novonna, Trevi Fountain and the Spanish Steps. It was a full day of amazing sights!

Day 6: The first pic is from yesterday, but when the students shared it with me, I just had to add it. Even a day late! The students are making life long friendships and memories.

Today we explored Florence and its rich history. Some students saw the David! We also stood on a bridge over the river that was built in 1345!

Day 5: We traveled by bus to Piza today. The leaning Tower of Piza was awesome, but the best part was watching the students (and adults) pose for pictures! It was so fun! We ended up at a fantastic hotel outside of Piza that is surrounded by nature. In the past few days, we’ve seen so many amazing places, but I could tell that the students really loved the feeling of being in nature/further away from the “big city”. That being said, there is very limited WiFi and signal out here, so don’t worry if you can’t reach your student tonight.

Day 4: We went to a Perfumery, strolled around in Monaco, and ended our day near (at for some) the beach in Nice. I heard from several travelers today that said today was their favorite.
