Took the ferry to Peaks Island today for the first time; really nice place. Hit the Manamana Music Festival. I’ve been wanting to try the wood-fired pizza at Il Leone for two years; it was fantastic. Enjoyed an IPA (well, maybe two 😃) from Bissell Brothers Brewing. Some music by The Mallett Brothers Band completed the day. Looking forward to a return visit to check out more of the island next month….

This is my former teammate (and best bud) Bob Monti and me grabbing a hundred or so lobsters on our way to a bear hunt up in northern Maine (Madawaska) from Young's Lobster Shore Pound in Belfast about 10 or 12 years ago. Only twenty minutes north of Lincolnville Beach, you'd have quick access to fresh seafood if you decide to stay at The Maine Apartment....
