Yesterday our international students got awarded with the Global Citizenship Project. Those international students participated of the Civility week and got nominated by our international advisor, Lucy for this award.
We are so proud of our students that worked hard for the civility week panel!

It was great to contribute to the nature cleaning the beach today! The cold and windy weather didnβt stop us!!
You can still do your part picking up after you go to the beach and keeping the beach clean during this summer time. βοΈποΈποΈ

Our group had the pleasure of participating of the Civility Week Healthcare and Maternity Leave: International Studentsβ Perspectives panel discussion.
We shared information about different countries and presented to the public, showing how different each country is when it comes to Health Care and Maternity Leave.

You are invited to attend one of the most popular workshops for international students: F-1 Students Working in the U.S.
When: Oct 14, 2021, 11:30 AM Eastern Time (the US and Canada)
This presentation will be in person in room MAN 108 and on Zoom (if you cannot join us in person.)

After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting.
This workshop will be conducted by Anne LaPorta and Bill Kelly, Career, Leadership and Transfer Pathways who will give a presentation about career preparation: resume writing and job interview, and Lucy Wadych-Ketley, International Education Center who will explain two types of practical training (OPT and CPT) and Off-Campus Work Authorization Based on the Economic Necessity.
This workshop will answer the following questions: What are OPT and CPT? How do I find a job in the U.S.? When and where can I work? How do I write a resume and prepare for a job interview in America? The session will be interactive and followed by questions and answers.
