Beth had her first experience with sewing at age 5, when she sewed a button back onto her father’s shirt. She didn’t really pick up sewing until age 14, when she began to make nearly all of her school clothes all the way through high school. Beth continued sewing throughout college and graduated from Ball State University with a BS in Home Economics. After graduation, Beth continued to make most o
f her work wardrobe. She also sewed clothing and the occasional costume for her two daughters. Beth started her business in 2008, when she began doing alterations in her home sewing studio, as well as handling the alterations for a local dry cleaning business. Beth is currently a member of the Association of Sewing and Design Professionals, has successfully completed Linda Stewart's Alterations for Professionals and Specialty Alterations: Bridal & Formalwear classes, and enjoys altering and working with formal wear. Beth’s other interests include jogging, healthy food preparation, and reading. She also volunteers with the local Crisis Pregnancy Center and in the toddler class at church.
