Mission Statement - Our mission at Black Experience Magazine is to instill a sense of pride and understanding within the family/community. We wish to empower our young by showing them the value of education, hard work, friendship, integrity, honesty, creativity, imagination and using their artistic talents to the best of their ability. We hope we can enhance our community by showing our youth that giving back is an asset.
Black Experience Magazine, this magazine is about the history of African Americans from the beginning of time where African Americans were kings and queens until today’s time where African American are CEO’s and leaders in the community. The magazine will highlight the best and the greatest of African Americans. Part two of this magazine is education; this will include speaking to teachers and giving parents tools to prepare their child for college. One subject we will cover is learning disabilities such as dyslexia. Other parts will cover topics including southern (soul food) of the south, talking to the leaders in the community and churches, people in the medical and technology community, politics, athletes, small businesses and love and life. Young writers, parent of the month, actors/singers, filmmakers, things to know, fashion designers and models, civil right leaders, black inventors are the features which will complete the magazine. We will also have a directory of businesses.
You can tell this magazine will become a household name and a very important tool for everyone to find information. With your help, we know that this can come to life.
