We were busy promoting Meadow View Manor during the month of November! We decorated a gingerbread themed room at Linden Hill for the Christmas tours, and we also had a parade float in the Santa Parade! We get the comment “I never knew about this place” all the time so we want to make sure we get noticed! Let us know if you saw us at either Linden Hill or the Parade!

Last week we had the honor of hosting the descendants of the original staff at Meadow View Manor. Ole and Selma Slettom lived and worked at the mansion before getting married in 1912. It was fun to learn more about the history of the house and those that lived there!

A few miles northwest of Little Falls stands Meadow View Manor, a five bedroom historical home Adam and Katelyn Mueller purchased in 2021 and turned into an Airbnb.

This spring we lost one of our huge white pines. We were able to clean it up and plant a new flowering crab apple tree in it's place. It's sad to lose such an old tree, but change is also good!

The original owner of the manor, M. M. Williams, was instrumental in the preservation of white pines on the western edge of Little Falls. He, along with Charles Weyerhaeuser, R. Musser, and A. Davidson helped the city purchase 55 acres of white pine to be used as a permanent park. You may know it as Pine Grove Park!

This fun crew from Contegrity Group joined us for a murder mystery event. They had a blast and shared plenty of laughter. Inspector Denaux turned out to be the guilty one this time!
