Ten days from today, one of FMB's biggest events: the Fort Myers Beach Lions Club Shrimp Festival will be here and our little city will be surging with shrimp lovers from all over the globe!
The Matanza's Pass Bridge will be closed on Saturday 3/14/20 from 9am - 12pm for the parade. So if you plan on cruising with us and you're driving from the south side of the bridge, make plans to be over it before it closes. Foot traffic will be allowed.
Traffic will probably be dense on the north side too, so prepare to arrive up to an hour early.

If you haven’t seen Fort Myers Beach and Sanibel Island from the water, then you’re missing some of the most beautiful scenery. That’s because much of our wildlife and sights are best seen from our waterways. To help you see all that our islands have to offer, Sea Racer Tours currently has three tours to choose from.
The most popular is our 90 minute dolphin cruise. One of Fort Myers Beach’s biggest attractions are Bottlenose Dolphins and we know exactly where to find them. If they’re not in one location, our two CAT 3412 twin turbo engines with 1,150 horse-power each, will move us quickly to another destination. Our friendly captains will do their best to ensure your party gets to see dolphins. With a little bit of luck, dolphins might even jump in the wake of our boat. It’s extremely exciting when this happens!
This cruise covers a distance of approximately 15 miles giving you plenty of opportunity to see dolphins and other marine wildlife along the way. You’ll get to experience speeds up to 35 miles per hour on this cruise. Sea Racer sits high above the water and is a smooth ride, even in choppy waters. This is not a jet boat where you must be harnessed into your seat and make sharp turns that can hurt your neck. You’ll be able to move freely around the boat to get the best pictures. In addition, we don’t make sharp turns or sudden starts and stops, so you can relax and enjoy the ride to the fullest.
The second most popular ride is our 90 minute sunset cruise. This cruise is similar to the dolphin cruise, but we spend a little more time watching the sun set over the Gulf of Mexico. This cruise is popular with couples and families alike. We still provide the same thrilling speeds, narration, and chances to see wildlife. Feel free to bring your own beverages (including cocktails) and snacks in a soft-sided cooler on all of our cruises, not just this one. If you’d rather not, we provide soft drinks and water for sale on board. A bathroom is also available on the boat.
Our third tour is our 45 minute sightseeing cruise. Here you get to take a leisurely ride through the back bay of Fort Myers Beach to see wildlife and the sights. You’ll receive a narrated tour of interesting points along the way such as the US Coast Guard Station, sh*****ng fleets, and local establishments. This tour is popular with passengers who prefer to take it easy, save money, and those with short attention spans.
Of course if you’d like to book a private party, we would love to take you out and show you a good time. Book your private charter (minimum of 2 hours) aboard Sea Racer and customize your destination and cruise type. Suggested bookings include a sightseeing cruise around the scenic islands of Sanibel and Captiva or a customized trip for your corporate outing, birthday or special event. We’ll have it waiting for you at our office. We also accept walk-ins. Just make sure you’re at our ticket window at least 30 minutes prior to departure as we do our best to leave on time. Gift certificates are available and are widely appreciated by birthday and holiday recipients.
