If you’ve been around for a few years, this room might look familiar… because it’s the suite right next door to my old studio in Little Rock! Annie loved their newborn session with Charlotte in the old studio so much, she asked if we could use her husband’s work office space NEXT DOOR to the old studio! It was special being back in this building where I began my newborn photography journey.

Also, I think I broke my record for number of shots taken during a single newborn family session because these people are SO beautiful!! 😍

When I started newborn photography, I thought I needed to learn all of the fancy poses and advanced photoshop techniques. Turns out, this natural approach to photographing tiny humans is where my heart is, and I’m so thankful to have found clients who love this style too!

My kiddos and I went to a birthday party last weekend for my life-long friend’s daughter. As more and more guests arrived, I realized that the room was full of kids that I have gotten to photograph! Five of them I had done newborn photos for, and several others have been in front of my camera at other ages! I get emotional just thinking about what an HONOR this is 🥹 Kaitlin had the idea to get a group picture with all of the “babies” plus siblings and I’m SO glad we did! This doesn’t even account for everybody, but as you can tell, it was a feat to get as many as we did 😂

Can we all just agree that .addison is a unicorn?? She’s drop dead gorgeous, an incredibly talented interior decorator (she designed this entire nursery herself), and has one of THE cutest babies alive!! 😍

This is one of my favorite stories!! Jordon and her good friend Elise were both pregnant with due dates just days apart, they live on the same street, and they both booked me for in-home newborn sessions without even knowing it! Once they realized they hired the same photographer and their babies were born within HOURS of each other, they had the idea to do their newborn sessions on the same day! Now of course their babies are going to grow up as best friends, and who knows… maybe I’ll photograph their wedding some day 😉

It’s going to be a GOOD year for newborn + family sessions 🤩 Just added 2 new growing families yesterday to the calendar!

Fun fact: I decided in 2020 to pivot from primarily shooting weddings to newborns because 1) my kids would soon be in school and I wanted to work while they were away and spend more nights and weekends at home; and 2) because I was tired of making almost no money through the winter… newborns aren’t seasonal 😉 The plan worked! But what also happened is I found out that I LOVEEEE photographing newborns and their families!!! Like, really REALLY love it. And apparently my personality and experience with my own babies made me a good fit for this… I promise I don’t tell anybody to say this but 99% of mamas end up calling me the baby whisperer 😂🤷🏼‍♀️

Anyways, if you’re an expecting mama, or you know one, I would be honored to photograph your sweet growing family!

Bonus points if you include your fur babies 😘🐾

First time mom? I’ll guide you through what to wear, what to bring, I’ll swaddle your baby, and walk you through the whole process! Not a first time mom? I’ll still do all that, plus expertly wrangle your quiver full of crazy little monkeys AND make it fun 😉 (Let’s be real, that’s what it feels like having more than 1 kid 😂)

The first newborn session of 2025 also happened to be for my dear, sweet friends! This family’s story is nothing short of miraculous and I’m convinced they are actual real-life superheroes ✨

And they got back home with minutes to spare before the snow hit! (We’re in the south, snow is a big deal 😂)

IT’S HERE!!!! 😍😍😍 I may or may not have been more excited for the last day of school than my kids were 🤣 What fun things are yall doing this weekend?!

Last year I took my kiddos to the White River Winter Wonderland in Batesville and it was INCREDIBLE! So we’re headed back to do it again!
