AES Operator/Cashier Job Description
The Company: Auction & Event Solutions is a service provider to the non-profit community. AES conducts and manages auction fundraising events in conjunction with non-profit organizations. AES provides both paper bidding and touch screen technology solutions for silent and live auction fundraisers as well as performs event night management of tasks such as patron check in, check out, financial reconciliation and other event night/day related tasks.

We are looking for people to work evenings (mostly Friday and Saturdays although some weekday availability is helpful), typically from 5:00pm to 11:00pm helping us close out auctions all along the Colorado Front Range.
*Please note this is a seasonal, less than part time opportunity mainly encompassing the months of February-June and September-November. Most Operator/Cashiers work 2 to 3 times a month during these busy seasons.
Candidates will be required to:
1. Be at least 18 years of age
2. Be reliable, flexible and responsible!!
3. Must present professional appearance and behavior at events (no facial piercings or facial tattoos, use appropriate language at all times and must dress in required all black professional attire).
4. Fill out all requested new hire documents and submit to a basic background check.
5. Must religiously check and respond to email, AES communication is 99% email!
6. Must have reliable transportation and able to travel across the Front Range, at night and in poor weather.
7. Be proficient with 10 key data entry
8. Have an outgoing “people personality” for patron interaction
9. Read the “AES Policies and Procedures” document
10. Complete a single webinar training session on software and procedures before your first event.
11. Complete on-the-job training to the satisfaction of AES Management
Upon successful completion of these steps, candidates will be paid $150 for each evening they work. Further, candidates that wish to move into Lead or Supervisory roles can put in a request with AES management to be moved up based on the company needs.
