Almost time for Fall Foliage kayaking!

Next week will be changing our schedule. We will be open just Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays from 10am - 2pm. Half day kayak rentals will be available and we will offer a guided tour from 10am - 12pm on Sundays only.

It’s our favorite time of year to be on the water. Crisp, quiet, magical. Come paddle with us before the cold sets in!

We officially wrapped up the 2023 season today as we took the last of the boats and gear offsite.

Even with the rainy weather we had an incredible summer with a record setting number of guests. Y’all are tough!

We added a small 5hp motorboat to the fleet, (safety first 😉) a convenient set of steps to the water, and expanded our private trip offerings.

Next year we are looking forward to adding paddle boards to our fleet, along with hosting a few community based events and group paddles!

Thank you to everyone who came to see Kelsey, Sole and I on Moore Reservoir. We already can’t wait for next year. Until then, stay warm, cozy, and the enjoy the deep freeze.

Summer days on the water aren’t too long away 🫶🏻.

Incredible day on the water with a group of research scientists from . They specifically work on research and development of plant based medicine - how cool! We enjoyed sharing stories about flora and fauna and the this incredible ecosystem we are a part of.

Sole and all of us at North Country Kayak are ready to get back to business! The sun is shining, the days are getting longer, and it will be kayaking season before you know it. Well folks, we’re hanging it up the season! We had an incredible and successful summer of helping people get out on the water, connect with the natural world, and explore Moore Reservoir and the White Mountains.

A huge THANK YOU to our friends at Anheuser-Busch for dedicating a second day to clean up the Merrimack! 20 volunteers picked up 1,500 pounds of trash along the banks of the Merrimack River in Merrimack and Litchfield, NH, including five tires, a bunch of old metal car parts, and lots and lots of plastic trash. And thanks to North Country Kayak for co-leading and to River Network for their support of the event.

We’ve been super busy this fall running private group trips all over the great state of New Hampshire! Last week we teamed up with the staff from and pulled over 1500lbs of trash out of the Merrimack River!
