In 1910, Sears Roebuck Shoe Factory was located on Union Street. Later on it became Hitchner Manufacturing and was one of the largest employers in Littleton until 2014. After that time the big factory building was empty and deteriorating fast. In 2021, Allen Croteau purchased the building and together with his team have transformed the building into beautiful, upscale housing units and retail space, now known as Rail Trail Village . It is worth a visit to take a tour and view this thriving new village in town. Thanks, Al!
If your New Years resolutions includes taking a college course, then look no further than the Littleton Campus of the White Mountains Community College. This bustling campus offers a wide variety of programs and now features a state of the art technology center. Melanie Robbins, Interim President, led the college expansion from a two-classroom location to today's thriving campus on Union Street. She invites you to visit and take a tour, it is impressive to see and Littleton is fortunate to have a thriving community college right in town. Thanks, Melanie!
It all started with Dan making his grandmother's favorite jam recipe and selling a few jars at local farmer's markets. Seven years later, the White Mountains Canning Company is an emporium of delicious delicacies! Shelves stocked with homemade jams, jellies, pickles, and chocolate treats tempt all visitors to Littleton. Dan and his team have grown this small business into a popular Littleton attraction and always happy to help with community events. We look forward to see what they are cooking up next at White Mountains Canning Company!

Littleton has always been fortunate to have the lowest electrical rates in the region and a well-run organization managing our water and electricity for over 120 years. The LWL crew is active in our community all year long - hanging flags on the light poles in the Summer and helping to decorate around town for the holidays! And did you notice a holiday rebate in your light bill in December? YAY! Thanks Littleton Water and Light!
The Hugh J. Gallen Career and Technical Center provides vocational education programs for students from Littleton High School and other regional high schools. The programs at the center are relevant and prepares students for employment through local internships and community service projects. Over 75,000 hours of community service has been completed by LHS students in this program! Connie Ward helped many of those students find opportunities at local businesses and tells us about this valuable asset in our community. Thanks, Connie!

If you are looking to attend a church service this holiday, look no further than one of the eight churches here in Littleton, all of different faiths. All our local churches have vibrant congregations and give back so much to the community. Sharing a peaceful wish for the holidays here is Jim Anan of Elevate Church. Enjoy and Merry Christmas.
Not far from the hustle and bustle of Main Street, Littleton has beautiful nature trails that offer a quiet space to walk among the trees. Keeping these special places, The Dells, Kilburn Crags and the Pine Hill Trails, are the members of the Littleton Conservation Commission, led by Tom Alt. Tom reminds us here of the natural beauty all around our town and to take some time this holiday season and enjoy a walk in the woods. Thanks, Tom!
