Last day for visitors to drive Beartooth Highway (US-212) between
Red Lodge and Cooke City, Montana, will be Oct. 14

The last day for visitors to drive the Beartooth Highway (US-212) between Red Lodge,
Montana, and Yellowstone National Park’s Northeast Entrance near Cooke City/Silver
Gate, Montana, is Monday, Oct. 14.
The highway will be closed for the season Oct. 15.
Automobile travel east of Cooke City, Montana, to the Chief Joseph Scenic Byway is
possible until early November, weather dependent.
Check the Montana and Wyoming departments of transportation websites for road
updates and status.

The Job Service Billings Rapid Response Team will be in Columbus on Tuesdays and Big Timber on Wednesdays each week starting October 8 and continuing, at a minimum, through the Stillwater layoff date to meet with the affected workers and explain the services that are available and how to access them.

▪️ October 7th- Last day to register through the mail or email. Mailed-in applications must be postmarked by Oct. 7th and recieved by Oct. 10th. 📬
▪️ October 8th- Late Registration begins. This means you must come to the Elections Office IN PERSON to register or change your voter registration. 🏫 🚶‍♂️🚶
▪️ October 11th- Absentee ballots mailed, keep an eye on those mailboxes! 📫👀
