Heads up folks!

Plowing Update – February 10, 2025:

Our dayshift team is out clearing priority routes today. The evening shift will clear the downtown area starting tonight at 10:00 PM and continuing until 4:00 AM. Additionally, our team will plow around the Courthouse area, clearing D Street from Park to Lewis, E Street from Park to Lewis, and Callender Street between D and E Streets.

Please have all vehicles off the street before 9 pm to assist staff in clearing parking stalls.

Heads up folks!!!

Due to the current weather conditions and anticipated high winds, Public Works will continue snow removal operations until midnight tonight. Activities will resume at 4:00 AM tomorrow and continue through Friday.

We are reallocating personnel from other Public Works departments to support the Street Division in maintaining priority routes, particularly high-traffic areas and those susceptible to drifting caused by prevailing winds.

Weather permitting, downtown streets will be temporarily closed on Monday night to facilitate snow removal operations. We appreciate your support and understanding, knowing we have limited staff and equipment for such events.

Advisory: Livingston Public Schools Busses NOT Running Tomorrow AM Feb. 4th.

Due to severe weather, the Livingston Public Schools buses will not be running on the morning of Tuesday, February 4. School will remain in session with normal start times and we anticipate running afternoon routes as scheduled. More information to come as we get underway tomorrow. That is the kind of forecast we like to see! Livingston and SW Montana are expecting a big dump of snow over the next week, and we are Stoked. The snowpack is very welcome, as are the powder days. Every first Tuesday of the month, we are incredibly grateful to host Hayden Ramsey, a Community Justice Worker with the Montana Legal Services Association, here at the Livingston Food Resource Center to advise community members completely free of charge! 💥

Ask questions, get advice, and receive assistance in applying for the resources that you need.

The next day that Hayden will be at the LFRC is Tuesday, February 4th. 📅
