Let’s discuss how our day went during the VIP tour!
We met our guide in Magic Kingdom and our day went like this…
Tron and Tiana’s were our first rides.
Then we had private transportation to Epcot to ride Guardians and then since Remy’s was down we headed (again by private transfer) to Hollywood Studios.
At Hollywood we rode Runway Railway, Rise of the Resistance, Slinky Dog, Toy Story, and Tower of Terror.
After all that Remy’s was back up so we headed back to Epcot to ride Remy’s and Guardians again!
During the day we had wonderful snacks, water, and were even surprised with churros!
Our tour was a bit shorter than the required 7 hours, we only did 6 but we never felt rushed and honestly got in way more than anticipated.
It truly was a magical day!

Today was truly a dream come true, words cannot express how unbelievably amazing the VIP tour was. So grateful to our agency owner for her amazing generosity for this opportunity.
Our tour guide, Hannah, was the absolute best!
I have an early flight tomorrow but I can’t wait to update you all on all of the rides that we were able to do during our tour today.

I love taking Uber from the airport to my resort, and here’s a tip… When you check rates if they seem a little high swipe out of the app and check again in a few minutes.
While I wait for my bags I do this and the price dropped $10 for my ride with 5 minutes.

Here’s a rundown of the *major* news from D23, featuring exciting additions coming to Walt Disney World, Disneyland, and Disney Cruise Line! What are you most excited for?

🏰 Magic Kingdom
- 💥 VILLAIN LAND is on the way, complete with two major attractions, dining, and shopping. Construction is already underway, though the completion date hasn’t been announced yet.
- 💥 Cars are cruising into a new section of Frontierland with two Cars-inspired attractions. Construction begins this year.
- 💥 A brand new night parade, 💫 Disney Starlight, will light up Magic Kingdom in summer 2025.

🎥 Disney’s Hollywood Studios
- 💥 Monsters Inc. Land will bring Monstropolis to life, featuring Disney’s first suspended coaster, taking you through the iconic door scene and more!

🌳 Disney’s Animal Kingdom
- 💥 *Dino Land USA* will transform into the 11-acre Tropical Americas, a new land featuring two new major attractions (details below). Construction begins this Fall, with the project rolling out in phases.
- 💥 A new Indiana Jones attraction with a completely original story, set to open in 2027.
- 💥 Encanto Attraction is also set to open in 2027.
- 💥 A new carousel themed around Disney characters.
- 💥 Zootopia: Better Zoogether opens NEXT WINTER at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, replacing It’s Tough to Be a Bug.

🌐EPCOT
- 💥 *Spaceship Earth Lounge* will debut in 2025 within the “Golf Ball” replacing the old Siemens Lounge.
- 💥 Test Track is getting a reimagined yet again and set to reopen in 2025.

🏰 Disneyland
- 💥 Tiana’s Bayou Adventure opens on November 15.
- 💥 Mando and Grogu (aka baby Yoda) will join Millennium Falcon: Smuggler’s Run in 2026.
- 💥 Great Moments With Mr. Disney, featuring a Walt Disney animatronic, will will premiere at the Main Street Opera House, alternating shows with “Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln.”

🎡 Disney California Adventure
- 💥 Avengers Infinity Defense will begin construction next year, expanding the current Avengers Campus.

Two new attractions coming soon to Animal Kingdom!
Embark on a new adventure at Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park with the introduction of a space inspired by the Tropical Americas…
Welcome to Pueblo Esperanza.

Work on this new 11-acre section of the park is set to begin later this year. Similar to Harambe, this land will feel vibrant and full of history, featuring a large hacienda that will be one of the biggest quick-service restaurants at Walt Disney World Resort.

The area will be lush and expansive, with a central fountain where villagers gather to share stories. A skilled woodcarver has also crafted a giant, functional carousel showcasing his favorite Disney animals. This fresh take on a classic attraction is sure to be a hit with young families.

But that’s not all, the new land will boast not one but two signature attractions!

🤠 Indiana Jones 🤠
A brand-new Indiana Jones experience is coming to Disney's Animal Kingdom, offering something unique compared to other Indiana Jones attractions worldwide.

In this exciting adventure, the man with the hat has recently uncovered a perfectly preserved Maya temple, and it’s time to explore. Rumors of a mythical creature hidden deep within the temple have reached his ears, and he's eager to investigate. He invites us to join him on this thrilling journey—but will there be snakes? Only time will tell.

🌺 Encanto 🌺
Fans of drawers, floors, and doors, get ready! The first-ever “Encanto” ride-through attraction is coming to Animal Kingdom, featuring the beloved Madrigal family from the Walt Disney Animation Studios film. Inside the Casita, Antonio has just received his special gift—the ability to communicate with animals—and his room has transformed into a lush rainforest. Join him on this exploration, where you never know which family member you might encounter!

This coming Wednesday I will be checking into a resort that I have never stayed at; I love being able to experience new resorts to better serve my clients!
I am so excited to be staying at the 🦢Swan Reserve. Although this not is a Disney owned resort, it is about as close as you can get to a Disney property, so close you can walk to Epcot and Hollywood Studios.
Did you know that the 🦢Swan Reserve, the 🐬Dolphin, and the 🦢Swan are all considered "Deluxe" in terms of enjoying the Extended Evening Hours at the parks for Deluxe resort guests.
The resorts offer ⛴boat service to Hollywood Studios, Epcot, and the Boardwalk, and 🚌bus service to Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom.
All three properties are Marriott properties, so if you are a Marriott Bonvoy member you can earn those Marriott points! These resorts also include the perks of booking Light Lanes 7 days prior to arrival, woo hoo!

✨ My "Must-Do" dream is coming true next week!
The Top Ten Second Story Travel agents have been invited to experience a Walt Disney World VIP tour and I am honored to be able to attend!

What is a VIP Tour?!?

Imagine being picked up at your resort in private Disney transportation and whisked away to your first park of the day.
You don't enter the park through the main entrance, you are entering through a back entrance.
You're provided with water and snacks and begin your magical day, all with a private concierge to get you top access to rides with minimal to no wait!

I recommend having Park Hopper tickets, so you can get in as many parks as you wish while with your guide. I like to discuss with clients a good plan in order to best utilize the VIP Tour. The VIP Guides will also work with you to plan the most perfect day for your party.
✨ Tours can accommodate up to 10 guests, but can be as few in your party as you wish
✨ Tours have a 7 hour minimum, and prices range from $450-$900/hour, depending on time of year
✨ Park admission is not included
✨ Booking opens 60 days prior to arrival

Of course a VIP tour is not for everyone, but if it sounds like it may be for you, I can assist. I can even book your VIP tour whether or not you are my client!

As if Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party wasn’t already amazing, you can also find all this amazing food at Magic Kingdom to purchase during the party!
Some items are even available during regular park hours, so you can enjoy it even if not attending the party.

Client: We heard we get a discount if we get our tickets through AAA…

Me(aka Maury): Well it appears that way until you get to the check out screen and they tack on the taxes and fees. The check out screen determined that was a lie.

Final Price through AAA for 6 adults: 1334.10
Final Price through me/Universal: $1335.42

But the kicker is they advertise it as exclusive member savings and advertise tickets $20 savings and it shows that way as you’re shopping and changes on the check out screen (which many people skim since they think sub total is the price).

I think the value I add helping you plan your day and answering any and all questions is worth the $1.32 .

Are you ready? ⚡️Here's all you need to know!

⚡️Before you purchase a Lightning Lane pass, you’ll need to do 3 things:
1. First, download the latest version of the My Disney Experience app.
2. Connect everyone in your travel group on your Family & Friends list in the My Disney Experience app so you’ll be able to purchase Lightning Lane passes and make plans for everyone that is eligible.
3. Gather your group’s wish list for attractions and experiences. You can save your group’s top picks in the My Disney Experience app using the “My Day” feature.

✨Just remember, everyone in your party must have valid theme park admission. Park reservations may also be required, depending on the type of admission and the date of your visit.
✨Pricing for Lightning Lane passes varies by date and theme park or attraction, and purchase is subject to limited availability. Prices will be displayed in the My Disney Experience app.

⚡️When you’re ready to purchase Lightning Lane passes, here’s what to do:
1. Open the My Disney Experience app, then tap the Lightning Lane Passes section on the home screen
2. Select a date and theme park
3. Select a Lightning Lane Single Pass, a Lightning Lane Multi Pass or both
✨If you select a Lightning Lane Multi Pass, you can choose up to 3 Lightning Lane Multi Pass experiences and arrival windows in advance
✨If you select a Lightning Lane Single Pass, you can choose an arrival window in advance
✨Follow all prompts to complete your purchase and receive a confirmation.
✨From the confirmation screen, you can tap “Plan Another Day” to purchase another pass or tap “View My Day” for details about your Lightning Lane selections.

⚡️On the day of your park visit, once you redeem a Lightning Lane Multi Pass selection (or once the arrival window has passed), you can use the My Disney Experience app to check availability for another Lightning Lane Multi Pass experience and add to your plans.

⚡️You can make one Lighting Lane selection at a time until regular park closing (subject to availability).
If your park admission includes Park Hopper benefits, you can even choose a Lightning Lane Multi Pass experience in a different theme park.

🔷Although this may seem like a lot of steps it is actually very streamlined! Just think of this as good old FastPass (because really it is, with a fee).
