Always a little bittersweet as we close out another season on the Hocking River. A big shout out to our customers for making it such a fantastic year, thank you! We are already excited about next year and some new things we have planned. Stay tuned and we will see you on the river in 2025!

October 19th is the last day of the season here at the canoe livery. A great thing to checkout after your river trip is Fall Day at the Farm at Fox's High Rock Farm located at 14977 State Rte 664 S here in Logan! There will be wagon rides, games, crafts, and of course lots of animals waiting for food and attention. Don't miss out on such a great opportunity to spend the day at the farm!

Today starts the last week that the canoe livery will be open for the season. We will be open everyday except for Tuesday and Wednesday so don't miss your opportunity to get out on the river for one last trip. We take walk-ins everyday, no reservations required.

Due to the rainy weather, we are closing for the day. While the rain is definitely needed, it’s not the ideal day to paddle the river. But don’t worry-we still have a few weeks left in our season, so we’ll see you soon! 🍂🍁

No matter the weather, this is our happy place! We are still open, except for Tuesdays and Wednesdays up until October 19th. We take walk-ins everyday, no reservations required. Don't wait, get a river trip in before the end of the season.

We don't only get small groups and families out on the water, we can accommodate pretty much any size group! We are open Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays from 10am-3pm and Saturdays and Sundays from 9:30am-3:30pm. We can't wait to get you out on the water!

After Labor Day Weekend we will be closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays until the end of the season. We will be open Thursdays, Fridays and Mondays from 10am-3pm with boats due back at 5:30pm and Saturdays and Sundays from 9:30am-3:30pm with boats due back at 6pm. Walk-ins are always welcome!

Looking for something to do this weekend? Why not come out and enjoy your Labor Day weekend on the beautiful Hocking River! We will be open and taking walk-ins and reservations all weekend and Monday up until 3:30pm. After Labor Day weekend we will be closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

It's so hard to believe that summer is almost over. There's still time to get out and enjoy the sunshine before it's too late! We have had a great season, getting families and groups out on the water to make lasting memories but we're not done yet. We will be taking walk-ins and reservations up until October 19th this year, being closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays after Labor Day weekend. We will be closed Tuesday August the 6th for staff appreciation day. Our staff work very hard over the summer months and will be enjoying the day at the Columbus Zoo and Zoombezi Bay. We will open back up for business on August 7th at 9:30am.

This weekend is looking like it's going to be amazing for spending time out on the river! We will be taking walk-ins for our 5 mile trip this weekend from 8:30am-3:40pm, with shuttles going out every half hour. You can also make reservations from our website, for our 5 or 7 mile trip at hockingriver.com.

Canoes, canoes and more canoes. Even if you come in as a walk-in customer, we always have plenty of canoes. We take walk-ins everyday, for canoes and kayaks for our 5 mile trip and weekdays for our 7 mile trip. With the water levels being a bit on the lower side we are not recommending more than 2 people per canoe. Reservations can be made on our website at hockingriver.com. Our Story

Aaron Fox opened Hocking Hills Canoe Livery in May of 1996 born on the need for a quality outfitter on the Hocking River. We began with 35 boats (about 30 too many for the first year) and lots of good energy. Now in 2019 we have grown to over 300 various watercraft. We have not pushed our growth but feel that our customers demanded it with the need for great customer service. We love what we do and hope that we can share our passions with you and your family.
