❤️April is Autism Acceptance Month!❤️
Last summer, when Disney announced changes to their Disability Access Service (DAS) pass, I saw how much confusion and concern it created in the autism/neurodivergent community. It made me realize how important it is to have travel professionals who truly understand these needs—I wanted to know more.
With a bit more research and education, I became a Certified Autism Travel Professional. This allows me to help families find destinations, accommodations, and experiences that support neurodiverse travelers. From quiet spaces in theme parks to autism-friendly cruises, I’m here to make travel stress-free, inclusive, and full of magical memories.
Travel should be for everyone, but for families with autistic travelers, it often comes with unique challenges. I’ve seen this firsthand through several friends and family members with autism/special needs, and I know how overwhelming travel planning can be when accessibility and sensory needs aren’t prioritized.
This Autism Acceptance Month, I want to celebrate and support all families looking for welcoming and accessible travel experiences. If you have questions about planning an autism-friendly trip, I’d love to help!
