The Driving Scotsman graciously braved the frigid temperatures and roads this morning to get me from Long Beach to my flight out of NOLA. The ride was extra toasty and the hot tea with milk and sugar was worth getting out of bed for.
Because of the wether we needed to communicate and adjust our plans, which was very appreciated since the flight was so early. I went to bed knowing I would worry for nothing when I woke up. I highly recommend Eugene’s service as a upgraded alternative ride on the Gulf Coast.

Please join us in celebrating our designation as a WWII Heritage City by the National Park Service on Friday, November 17, at 10 AM at Singing River Island!

We are incredibly excited to honor our military, veterans and community members for their sacrifices and commitment to our country during WWII and beyond. As Pascagoula is the chosen city for the state of Mississippi, we invite the entire state to celebrate this designation.

The event will feature recognition of military leadership from Coast and other state bases in attendance, recognition of WWII veterans in attendance, the Victory Belles, a singing trio from the WWII Museum in New Orleans, Congressman Ezell, Secretary of State Michael Watson and featured speaker Senator Roger Wicker.

We encourage everyone to bring loved ones that are veterans, especially WWII veterans as we plan to honor them. We are also seeking shipbuilders during this time period and we encourage you to reach out regarding either at [email protected].
