It’s official — we’re moving locations! Development is beginning soon on 6701 E. PCH here in Long Beach, and after 18 great years on this slice of paradise, we will be looking for next year’s new home. Please check our social medias for frequent updates on the announcement of our new location.

Saying goodbye to this location is going to be hard. Pa’s started in Long Beach with my grandfather, Dave Thacker, over 55 years ago — but his last season was spent here. I can remember the family emergencies, last minute triumphs, every fear and every smile. I owe my earliest years to this place, and now we say goodbye.

Ever since the start, Pa’s has been on the move. Dave first got his start selling his own Christmas trees in Oregon, hand-tagged, and then California. A seasonal rotation began to develop, and soon a band of RVs would begin their biannual trip between the two states.

Here’s to the next voyage and chapter of Pa’s Pumpkin Patch. We’re not sure what the future holds, but we will place our faith in God as we have for generations before. Thank you for all these years, and we can’t wait to make more memories with you all.

It's that time of the year! Pa's Pumpkin Patch will be returning for our 2023 season on September 29th, opening 1:00PM.

Reservations are still required by the city of Long Beach and are necessary for us to stay open. You can make your reservation and even buy ride & game tickets in advance through our website! Please click the link below to get started.
