The Millikan Nation is home of RAM pride providing students with the opportunity for a well-rounded high school experience by offering top-notch athletics, visual and performing arts programs, and other extra curricular activities to support academics and service learning. All members of the Millikan Nation choose to show their RAM pride every day in their blue and gold student-friendly uniforms and by supporting our motto.

Last week students showed that even living the Zoom life, they can show that amazing Ram spirit we all know and love. 💙💛 Students had the chance to participate in Sports Day last Friday, wearing any favorite team gear, and were entered in an ASB opportunity drawing. Winners were delivered some swag today by Robbie himself! Stay tuned on via Instagram for more spirit days!

iBOSS NETWORK SECURITY ISSUES:

If a user was unable to log into their Chromebook today, then the problem might be due to the iBoss network security issue the district experienced. The iBoss situation is reported to be corrected but if a user continues to experience inability to login despite using their correct credentials, then they should perform the following steps:

1. Shut down the Chromebook completely.

2. Turn the Chromebook back on and try logging in again.

If a user is able to log in but unable to access district content (Canvas, Student portal applications, etc.), then they should perform the following:

1. Click on the three dots in the upper right corner of their browser.

2. Click on “Settings.”

3. Click on “About Chrome” near the bottom left corner.

4. “Check for Updates” on the next screen and “Relaunch” when the button appears.

This will update the Chromebook’s OS and allow for current content to be displayed.

We will be on a minimum day schedule until Friday, September 11th. Tomorrow’s schedule is as follows, starting with Gold Classes (periods 1, 3, 5, 7) and Thursday with Blue Classes (periods 2, 4, 6, 8):

7:50-8:54 Period 1/2 64 minutes

9:01-10:08 Period 3/4 67 minutes

10:08-10:18 Nutrition 10 minutes

10:25-11:29 Period 5/6 64 minutes

11:36-12:40 Period 7/8 64 minutes

12:40-1:10 Lunch 30 minutes

Please be advised that most LBUSD high schools will conduct graduate parades in the mid-morning/early afternoon hours of June 11, 2020. The city and police department have been made aware of the plans, and the schools have been given operating guidelines by the County of Los Angeles. If you live near to an LBUSD high school you may experience a higher volume of traffic for a few hours on this day. All parades are to be concluded by 2pm. Parades may begin at 9am, or later.
