Just a lil FYI on cruise docs from Carnival!
IMPORTANT NOTICE BELOW:
We have exciting updates for guests sailing with U.S. passport cards! Effective immediately, guests may sail on open loop and closed loop voyages that depart from and return to a U.S. port using a U.S. Passport Card:
• U.S. passport cards must be valid for at least six months beyond the completion of travel.
• U.S. passport cards, with the same validity as noted above, are also accepted for cruises to Colombia if the cruise departs from and returns to a U.S. port.
• The guest should check with their government authority to confirm any documents needed for each port of call.
◦ Airline requirements may vary. Guests are responsible to check the acceptable documents required to travel by air (if applicable).
◦ Proper travel documentation is required at embarkation, throughout the cruise, and is the responsibility of the guest.
◦ If the proper documents are not presented, the guest will be denied boarding and no refund will be issued.
Please note, a U.S. Passport Book (valid for at least six months beyond the completion of travel) is still required for cruises that visit Greenland (U.S. Passport Cards are not acceptable).
