MagicBand+ launches at Walt Disney World this upcoming Wednesday, July 27, 2022!

At Walt Disney World, MagicBand+ can do everything a MagicBand can do and more – from entering theme parks with a tap* and connecting your Disney PhotoPass memories, to unlocking your Disney Resort hotel room and more.

But this newest wearable also has great new features, including color-changing lights, haptic vibrations, and gesture recognition – plus it pairs to your smartphone using the My Disney Experience app. Once you get your hands on one, you’ll want to do it all – and there’s a lot you can do when MagicBand+ launches! Before you head out on these exciting new experiences, you’ll want to pick out the perfect MagicBand+ from an incredible lineup of more than 25 designs.

MagicBand+ will be available at select retail locations throughout Walt Disney World for $34.99. However Walt Disney World resort hotel guests can get these special bands online for a special price prior to their arrival. MagicBand+ will be available at these locations this upcoming Wednesday:

After a two year absence, Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is returning to Magic Kingdom Park this fall during the resort’s 50th Anniversary celebration! Ghosts and ghouls of all ages are invited to don their favorite costumes and celebrate all things haunted during Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. Taking place on 37 select nights August 12 through October 31, 2022, this special event haunts the park after normal park operating hours from 7 p.m. to midnight featuring exclusive entertainment such as 'Mickey's Boo-To-You Parade" and "Disney's Not-So-Spooky Spectacular" fireworks, plus trick-or-treating around the park.

***Tickets are on sale now for guests of Walt Disney World Resort hotels and Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Hotels, and will be available to the general public beginning May 18, 2022. Tickets range from $109-$199 plus tax.***

These dated event tickets do not require an additional day theme park ticket or Disney Park Pass theme park reservation. The event dates are:

September: 2, 5, 9, 11, 13, 16, 18, 20, 23, 25, 27, 29, 30
