The apatment was awesome. Very cool to have a loft apartment downtown. Right down the street from our favorite coffee shop in Longview!

I grew up in Longview and now live in Austin. This is absolutely my favorite place to stay when I return to town to visit friends and family. Ice cream shop, brewery, restaurants all within a few steps outside the door. What more could you ask for?

Such a beautiful and charming historic home for our family to stay in while our home finished getting renovated. It’s such a gem of a property and we were super grateful for the opportunity to stay. Great location near all the charm that makes downtown Longview great- some of the best mom and pop restaurants, ice cream, coffee shops around. Had all the amenities needed for our family!

The Historic Preservation Commission will consider adding a new Local Historic Landmark when it meets Tuesday, Sept. 6.

LMFA - Longview Museum of Fine Arts has filed an application to designate the old Longview National Bank at 213 N. Fredonia St.

If approved by the commission, the application will go to the Planning and Zoning Commission and then to the City Council.

The Historic Preservation Commission will meet at 2 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 6, at Development Services (410 S. High St.)
