Day 14 - 1/27/24 - Cruising the South Pacific
We selected our deck chairs and I realized I was a little too late for breakfast. They suggested I call room service, so I went to our cabin to request a small omelet. Our butler was checking our cabin when I returned and asked what I was doing and he said he would take care of it. Before I knew it, breakfast was served. The ship does our laundry, but there are certain items I prefer to hang to dry, so I used the passenger laundry room. The butler asked me why I was doing that and said he will have the ships laundry place the clothes on hangers that I don’t want to go in the dryer. Having a butler in indescribable, and I adore ours. I went to the choral group and we sang songs from Les Miserables, which is one of my favorites. Lunch was excellent and afterwards, we lounged by the pool until trivia. Trivia was difficult today and we missed 3rd place by 1 question. We had a wonderful dinner with other ATW guests and discussed our possible options if the ship reroutes to Africa, instead of going through the Suez Canal. Tonight’s show featured an adorable magic couple. Tomorrow is our last sea day before we reach Rangiroa. I admit that we love sea days and wish we had more of them.
