Camp Gifford operates primarily as a Summer Youth Camp as well as offering Retreat and Conference facilities to rental groups. We provide affordable residential summer camping experiences to more than 1,000 children every summer. Our goal is to provide a week of camp to those children who would not otherwise have an opportunity to attend a summer camp. Primarily, we serve low-income, foster, homel
ess, single-parent and minority children. Additionally, Camp Gifford’s excellent facilities are available to rental groups throughout the year. You’ll find our location and available activities to be among the best in the area at a price that is sure to please. In addition, your rental helps Camp Gifford pay for the poorest of children in our area to attend summer camp.

Last but certainly not least, Camp Gifford has offered growth through new experiences, opportunities to make new friends, and most importantly, a place to encounter God for the past 101 summers. This past week members of the Camp Gifford team have been attending Camp Symposium with other Salvation Army Camp across North America. We have learned many new lesson and taking some great ideas home, can't wait to see them in action this summer.
