📅 Schedule Update ⬇️ We've made it to a long weekend! Tours are booked, and there are some fun option this weekend. If you're looking for something different, why not check out the History and Architecture of Echo Park? This 2.5 hr tour will cover the history of the reservoir, take a trek through Angeleno Heights, hike the hills of Elysian Park, and return to where it all began. Have you ever been to the ? This active fossil dig site also functions as an open park with a museum for visitors to come and learn all about a Los Angeles that would have been home to dire wolves, horses, camels, giant sloths, and short nosed bears! These mega fauna began to disappear around 50,000 years ago. Today, their remains are found right under your feet in one of the biggest cities in the world! I'll have some exciting tour news to share about the La Brea Tar Pits and Museum Row soon!

📅 Schedule Update Below 👇 Hello! I'm back! It's been a lovely month away from social media (but certainly not from leading tours!). I've gotten a little bit older and returned with a new tour of Los Angeles! I can't say too much about it yet, but tickets will be available soon, and it is something I was excited to work on alongside some great tourism pros. The LA in a Day tour on 05/16 is a big 7-8hr walking tour that includes segments in Hollywood, DTLA, and Santa Monica. I'll be leading the Hollywood and DTLA segments, and I'll also be helping the guests make the trip to DTLA from Hollywood. There's a lot of the Sunset Strip this week. If you're a true crime aficionado, that's your tour! The mornings are still open for Fri-Sun, and it's a great time to do the LA River or Painted Stairs tour!

Next week is looking a bit light, but schools are about to finish up and travel will begin. This is a good time to book if you like smaller groups on your walking tours. Yesterday, I made it out to Malibu to do my "Perfect Day in Malibu" experience. That includes a morning horseback ride, beachside picnic, and afternoon wine tasting. It's a big effort to put together, but it's 100% worth it. Especially on a day like yesterday. The weather was amazing, and Malibu is looking beautiful right now. Something very cool is that the horseback ride with went through Paramount Ranch, where Westworld (and many other things) filmed!

In 1927, Paramount Pictures purchased 2,700 acres of the old Rancho Las Virgenes for use as a “movie ranch.” For 25 years, a veritable who’s who of Hollywood practiced their craft at Paramount Ranch including director Cecil B. Demille and actors Bob Hope, Gary Cooper, and Claudette Colbert. - National Park Service information.

Unfortunately, the 2018 Woolsey Fire did massive amounts of damage to Paramount Ranch. Many of the old western buildings were lost, but this little church building survived. If you're looking for a beautiful place to hike, I highly recommend Paramount Ranch.

The beginning of Shohei Ohtani's time with the Dodgers has been... a little scandalous, to say the least. However, the excitement over signing the baseball phenom led to a surge of new murals around the city in celebration of the 3/4 of a billion dollars new hire. The massive mural that looks down on Little Toky is one of the best, and it's no surprise it was made by the incomparable

You can see this new mural and so much more with the History and Architecture of DTLA walking tour! Over 3 hours, you'll see famous landmarks like City Hall, hear amazing stories of resilience in Little Tokyo, and try the best mochi LA has to offer. This tour is available almost every day!

📅 Schedule and Life Update: Hello Los Angeles! I hope you all had a good and rainy weekend. Tours were a little all over the place, and so was my life. I have quit working with a large tour company and will be able to focus more on my own business moving forward. It's a stressful but exciting time. I'll have more to tell you about that one soon!

I'm working on ways to trim the tour down and make it a daily offering. I'm thinking something that starts at the Griffith Observatory and then descends to the Hollhock House. We could then use the DASH to return to the Observatory.

The moment I saw this house, I was smitten. From the flowers along the walkway to turret to the... everything. This incredible home is known as "The Blackburn Residence." The architect was none other than the incomparable Paul Revere Williams. Paul R. Williams is a fascinating architect to study for his contributions to the LA architecture scene, but also for his experiences as a black architect designing homes for clients that wouldn't accept him as their neighbor.

We will dive deeper into Paul R. Williams during the History and Architecture of Los Feliz this Saturday at 12:30! See the Blackburn Residence and so many other incredible examples of residential architecture. This tour is NOT listed on any website, so send me a message if you'd like to join!

SCHEDULE UPDATE: Two updates for everyone!

1. LA's Secret Painted Stairs is now available at 10am this Saturday 03/09. After hundreds of reviews, my first stair tour that I created is still 5 stars across all platforms! Come check out on of my most popular tours!

2. The History and Architecture of Los Feliz has been locked down for a 12:30pm start time on Sat 03/09. This tour will be a massive exploration of Los Feliz; from Griffith Park to Franklin Hills. We will cover a variety of subjects, but architecture fans won't want to miss out on this walk. Both the and house will be featured on the tour route. fans will also be treated to a variety of lesser known Disney landmarks. There'll also be a little time for a pit stop along Vermont Ave where there's a variety of coffee shops and restaurants. Expect to spend around 3-3.5hrs hiking a little over 5 miles! The price for the tour is starting at $50/person, but as more people book, the price will come down. The price will continue to decrease for every person after the 5th booking (currently at 3ppl). I'm hoping this will encourage people to bring friends and family! This may not become a regular tour, so I can't say when it'll be back on the schedule. If you're interested - send me a message, you won't find this tour on the website!

I'm very excited about the special Los Feliz walking tour that I'll be leading this Saturday. This will be a 3hr walk and will cover an area that no other regular LA walking tours get to. We will discuss a wide variety of topics like the old Spanish Ranchos, some true crime, noir authors, world renowned architects, visit a world heritage site, talk about some Disney history, and more! Please message me for a details! This tour is starting at my usual 3hr/$50 price tag, but will become cheaper with each additional person that joins up. So get your friends together and join as a group! You'll save money and have an unforgettable LA experience. (We need to break 5ppl for the price to start dropping and we are currently at 3!) What are you doing Saturday morning? How about taking some time to explore one of LA's most interesting elements - the LA River. This Saturday, I'll be leading the LA River Eco Tour and Secret Stair Hike. This is a 3hr urban exploration hike to see a part of LA most never knew existed. Dirt trails, abandoned trolley paths, and secret stairs make up parts of this route through Frogtown, Silver Lake, and Echo Park. This is one of my favorite tours and it's an amazing way to explore Los Angeles. You can find it by following the link in my bio!
