“Peru with Choose Life Adventures was truly a magical experience. Not only did I see beautiful sites, eat wonderful food, and have fun, but I made connections with people that I anticipate will be life long friends. From the moment I arrived to my sad departure, every detail was planned with just enough structure to have the full experience of Peru, but also enough downtime to relax and go at my own pace. To be with fellow minded people in recovery made my first solo trip feel safe and positive all around. I can’t wait to take another trip with them in 2024!!”

Intipunku is an archaeological site in the Cusco Region of Peru that was once a fortress of the sacred city, Machu Picchu. After this 6+ hour hike, we got our first glimpse of the majestic peaks of Machu Picchu ⛰️

On our Costa Rica Exploration & Discovery sober adventure, we were lucky enough to witness a massive sea turtle hatching on the Pacific coast of Costa Rica! 🐢

Did you know that sea turtles symbolize longevity, peace, grounding, and emotional strength? They carry the world on their backs, grounding them wherever they go and are determined, persistent, and steadily evolving. We like to think we, as a sober community, are just like sea turtles. ✨

“I went to Costa Rica with Choose Life, and it was one of the best trips I have been on. I never had to worry about a thing on the trip, everything was handled perfectly, and every day was full of once in a lifetime experiences with incredible people. Sobriety and our common purpose was integrated well into the trip and everywhere we went was very sober friendly (there was never any alcohol in the hotel rooms, we were not offered alcohol at restaurants, etc.). I would highly recommend Choose Life to anyone in recovery and hope to go on one of their trips again in the future!”
