🏝Have small bills, tipping is so important. So many islands / countries depend on tourism to survive. Every little bit helps
🏝You are in a foreign country! There’s a language barrier, cultural differences and movement can be a lot slower than the fast paced life you are use to. Be patient and learn to relax
🏝Eat like the locals! Get to know the staff and find out the best spots.The concierge or Yelp don’t always know the real deal
🏝Pack snacks/light bites! Plane food, even in First Class, isn’t the healthiest or even the tastiest. Just being honest. Except JetBlue Mint…4 course meal AND breakfast / snack box to take with you 😋
🏝Always have a pen or 2 handy. Trust me you will need it
🏝Always have a small bag of essentials in your carry on..including phone charger USB & plug
🏝Place your passport, boarding, passes(those who hate apps), itinerary, etc with your keys on top of your bag, suitcase, purse…trust me so many people forget their passports. My OCD won’t let me😂
🏝Setup alerts for flight delays, changes, gate changes
🏝Utilize Travel Advisors to alleviate a lot of the planning that goes into vacationing. You have enough to think about.
