A New York native who relocated to Los Angeles, Dawn has over 20 years of experience in fashion merchandising, design, production and personal styling with companies including J.Crew, Isaac Mizrahi, Calvin Klein, Donna Karan and Nicole Miller Japan and is an Emmy-nominated costume designer for her work on The Ellen DeGeneres Show. Dawn’s collection – dawn baker essentials – reflects her discerning

aesthetic and chic style philosophy. dawn baker essentials includes Dawn’s fundamental pieces such as the perfect fitting soft cotton tee, long sleeve thermals, cashmere sweaters which include long cozy cashmere wraps and versatile tunics. By perfecting the fit, embracing layering and working with the most luxurious fabrics, Dawn has created a line that is not only practical, stylish and affordable but also compliments women of all shapes and sizes. These pieces are thoughtfully tailored essentials for women who want to look stylish, effortlessly. In addition to her experience as a designer, store owner, buyer and stylist, Dawn is frequently sought after for her “closet therapy” service in which she helps women AND men “cleanse their closets.”

Dawn assesses and organizes complete wardrobes, advising clients what to keep, what to have tailored and what to let go. Her service results in user-friendly, refreshed and functional closets so that clients can actually “see” and make best use of what they own. She then provides each client with a look book of the
existing clothes in the closet where they can reinvent their own wardrobe.
