Large Format Cinema Club

To make sure that we give the best possible education on the nature of the large format medium, we focus our efforts on holding various screenings throughout the semester that highlight the diverse nature of these films. What's more, at these screenings, we bring in guests involved in the creation of those films or documentaries to talk about their experience working with the large format medium -

everyone from Gareth Edwards with Rogue One to Mad Max cinematographer John Seale. On top of those screenings, we hold smaller events during the semester to allow students to see beyond the normal confines of Large Format Cinema. For example, we hold Video Game nights with MEGA (the Makers of Entertaining Games Association) as well as partnering with other clubs to screen works that are outside of mainstream IMAX.
