The Hollywood Bungalow is 1 block south of Sunset Blvd, near Cahuenga, in the heart of literally everything. Designed in the Hollywood Craftsman style, the home was built in 1920 for studio employees, writers, and actors. This bungalow is completely private. I live in the rear cottage, but the houses are built so that no one can see into the other house, and they're far enough apart that tenants cannot hear each other. The cottage and the main house each have their own yard. This house was recently completely renovated-virtually rebuilt down to the studs; foundation, roof, siding, insulation, plumbing, electrical, central air, all new windows, beautiful floors, kitchen, main bathroom, and fireplace. I'm very scrupulous about maintaining the house and am responsive to repair anything (except kitchen appliances and washer/dryer.) It has three bedrooms, a bright and cheerful living room/dining room combo, and two bathrooms. There's a lot of light--the house has 22 windows. It has a completely private back patio and yard with an orange tree (the oranges are delicious and all yours). There's a shady and private front porch and lovely front yard with a fountain that is secluded from the street--a perfect place for a glass of wine on a SoCal evening. It has recently been rented completely furnished including kitchenware, bedding, etc. as an Airbnb, so if tenant would like it furnished please ask --rental will be different if so. It has three bedrooms, a bright and cheerful living room/dining room combo, and two bathrooms. There's a lot of light--the house has 22 windows. It has a completely private back patio and yard with an orange tree (the oranges are delicious and all yours). And best of all in L.A., OFF-STREET PARKING for 1 car. House is freshly painted prior to move-in, and tenants may paint whatever colors they choose indoors. Return to original paint required. Equinox gym on Vine, Bally's gym, 24-Hour Fitness, L.A. Fitness all about .5 mile Arclight Theatres, Grauman's Chinese movies about .5 mile Highland/Hollywood Metro, Vine St./Hollywood Blvd metro about .5 miles Tons of expensive and inexpensive restaurants and bars nearby, and there are literally 5 great coffeehouses within a few blocks). Ralph's and Von's, Walgreen's, CVS approx .5 mile each. Hollywood Bowl is about a 20 minute walk, and DeLongpre park is a block away. 10-minute drive to Larchmont, about 15 minutes to center of Weho, about 15 minutes to center of Los Feliz and Silverlake 30 mins to downtown depending on traffic. Less if you use the Metro. You've got dry-cleaning and a post office within a block. And for your safety, the Hollywood police station is 3 blocks away. Gardener upkeep included, maid service not included but I ask that you use my housecleaner if you would like to hire someone. (you're not required to hire her, but encouraged because he has been with me 30 years and is superb.) And just to let you know, it's a real neighborhood with neighbors who look out for each other.
