Mr La Tours

Mr La Tours Walking and van tours that explore, closely, upfront, the sights, sounds, and, wonders that make Los Angeles truly a "world city". We sample LA!

See MrLA Tours page for MrLA Tours events and at: www.mrlatours.com! We will meet on what the Beatles call "the magical mystery tour" of a neighborhood that exemplifies why Los Angeles is called "The World City" and how it is a living, breathing experiment for the future. See it up close, and close up, and it's close by. All this, socializing with likeminded people, a great tamale lunch

at one of L.A.'s greatest finds, an overview of how Los Angeles has always been a "world city, and a sweet finish at one of L. A.'s trendiest coffeehouses, in Koreatown.

To a great friend of MrLA Tours, the wonderful owners of ...

For those who might go on my OG MrLA Tour, June 29, 2024, you'll be treated to a special one-time out of this world Kinrose Creamery sundae if you're the first person to correctly, clearly, and exactly describe the relationship between the four photos I've posted. If you can do that in all three described ways (correctly, clearly, and exactly), you'll be treated to some wonderful few people get as Kinrose Creamery doesn't make sundaes.

I look forward to your responses!🥳😎

Due to a long bout with a rough flu, I decided to move the OG MrLA Tour to Saturday, June 29. Start and end time is the same (11:00 a.m-2:30 p.m.) as previously. You'll get a fun time, some "a-ha!" moments, one-of-a-kind ice cream in Old Town Pasadena, and a totally changed, heightened, maybe, transformed view of Los Angeles, all for the price of an adventure on train, foot, forest, ice cream to a different world.

See you on this next adventure!🌈🌏

I want to thank my guests who made my first-ever Cinco de Mayo Tour a fun, joyful experience!
We started at the Plaza Church, then toured Little Tokyo and the Arts District (where French Town once existed and played a huge role in L.A. being the first American city to celebrate Cinco de Mayo), went to the Far Bar, and ended by sandwiching at Phillipe's.
Thank you Jill, Bob, Ana Rosa, Leo, Ricardo, and Curt!

To everyone participating in my Cinco de Mayo tour on Cinco de Mayo (?! 🙂 ), the easiest and most affordable parking lot in the Olvera Street area has been arranged by me at the Metro Plaza Hotel parking lot, 711 N. Main Street, LA. CA, 90012. It will be $15 the entire day, the most affordable price of any nearby lot. The management of that lot is graciously offering us our own private parking in its overflow parking lot, behind it at 711 N. Spring Street.
In the first photo (on top), is a picture of the front entrance of the hotel, on Main Street. The lower left photo shows the overflow parking lot, where we'll park, on N. Spring Street. The photo on the lower right shows the Gold Line arriving at Union Station, if you wish to take public transit.
Because the parking attendant is doing us this favor, I ask that everyone attending meet at 711 N. Spring, the overflow parking lot at 10:30 a.m. Your cars will be safe and secure. If you're arriving late, call or text me and I can make arrangements with the attendant.
I'm really looking forward to celebrating Cinco de Mayo with you the MrLA way! Que viva!
