Our Story
We create interesting, unique tours of Britain. Our groups are small (less than 10), our pace is leisurely (because that’s a more enjoyable way to travel), and the price is reasonable. We hit the tourist highlights but we also go off the beaten path to discover new experiences. We travel like locals - by train, Tube, double-decker buses, and iconic black cabs. As much as possible, we stay in small hotels, eat at family restaurants, and use local guides to keep the money we spend in the communities we visit.
Is it harder for you to get around than it used to be? Since our pace is unhurried and our groups are small, we are able to accommodate a number of mobility issues. Although ancient buildings may remain off-limits due to stairs, etc., there is still much that can be experienced. Let’s talk!
Our 2018 tours include three Frugal & Fun tours (London/Liverpool, Edinburgh/Glasgow, and Dublin/Galway), a garden-lover’s tour (from Scotland to London, including the Chelsea Flower Show!), a Harry Potter tour (London & Oxford, including a day at the Warner Brother’s World of Harry Potter!), and a Foodie Scotland tour (covering the gamut from haute cuisine to gourmet chocolate to local delights).
